Lucy pov:

I wake up to snow falling outside my window. I smile,its been a while since it snowed. I stretch and get ready for the day. Christmas was just around the corner. "Even though I don't have friends here that doesn't new that I don't have friends in America. A matter of fact...I haven't really called Kota." I laugh. "He's going to kill me!" I smirk and leave the house fully dressed. I pull out my phone and call Kota. "Hey Kota!" I said. The next thing I know I here a screech. "YOU ARE ALIVE!!!" I smile but turn a little. "Kota where are you?" I ask nervously. I can hear his smile through the phone, "no where in particular. Just in the city of Magnolia. I'm just leaning on an apartment building looking at a specific beautiful blond bimbo. You know this blond girl really looks like you. She even has the same heart earrings as you." A chill runs down my spine and I glance back. "K-Kota? What are you doing here?" Kota. His real name is Dakota Nelson. He's tall with shaggy brown hair. He comes from the wealthy family in New York. His family was really closed to my adopted family. It's not a surprise that we grew close.

I smile and run up to him. He laughs and hugs me back. "It was getting boring in New York. And who says I can't see my best friend during the holiday season?" I frown, "Kota, how did you find me?" He gives me an awkward smile," I sorta tracked you down...you know the usual.." I sigh. "I'm surprised you didn't bring Kaitlin with you..." Another chill run down my spine. "No you didn't!" My eyes widen," Kota!! Please tell me..." I was cut off by a tackle/hug. "LUUUUCCCCCCYYYY!!!!!!" Ah no. I turn my head ever so slightly. "Hey Kaitlin." Kaitlin Fernanz. She, like me,is adopted, but unlike me she was adopted into a kind and caring family. After Kaitlin got off of me, I gave both of them a hug. "Come on guys. I thought I could go shopping but that plan is over now." I sigh. They both run into my apartment building laughing. They are energetic as always. I remember when we first met. It was seven years ago.

Lucy at the age of 8:

Little Lucy is hiding in a closet crying.

Christmas Eve. The man that adopted me wants me to calm him 'papa'. I don't want to. First of all he takes me from my friends and family, now he is forcing me into this line of work! I don't want to be here. I don't know anyone! Nobody will care for a little 8 year old! "I want mamma! I want papa!! I want Virgo." The closet door slowly opened. A brown head boy sticks his head into the closet. "Um what are you doing in a closet?" I wipe off my tears. I try to stand up but he blocks my way. "My name is Kota. What's yours?" "Lu-Lucy" he smiles at me. "Nice to meet you Lucy." A little girl peeks out from behind him. "My name is Kaitlin." I looked at her confused. "How long have you two been listening?" Kaitlin smiles at me, "not long! But since your down play with us! I promise we are nice."

"I am...umm.."

"Come on! Let's go!" Both Kota and Kaitlin grab my hands. They drag me to the ballroom. That day we became friends...

Back to the present:

Kota faces me. "Lucy I have to tell you something important." His face turned serious. "What is it Kota?"
