Chapter 3: Welcome to Portvil

Chirping birds were outside the window. Haji opens his eyes to see a giant bird over him on the window.

(Haji): A-aauugh!

Haji falls off the hay bed onto the wooden flooring.

(???): Hahahaa. Your fired of yours is sure scared easily Ax.

(Ax): Sush feather girl. You use to blus-

(Feather Girl): S-SHUT UP! He-s not even here anymore!

As they are chatting, Haji looks around the house because he wasn't paying attention to it last night. It was a circular floored house, with a kitchen in the south east direction, where Ax was standing. 3 beds, where that bird was a fireplace to the east side of the house, attached to the kitchen counter. And a 8 person table on the west side of the house. The walls were a nice forest green, an family photos were on the fireplace mantle.

(Ax): Whatever. Look, we can talk later. Ok Otta?

Otta the Pidgeotto. A female bird who flies at a natural speed of mock 2. The only bird in this town who breaks the max fly limit. Currently has a fine of p$10,000.

(Otta): Fine.

Otta flies away at the sound of a gun

(Ax): As for you Haji... we need to talk.

Haji looked at Ax's cherry red eyes turn a sky blue. Haji had a pale look over his face. Ax took out a Red Journal. He glares with a stern look, and a annoyed voice.

(Ax): So I read your Journal. Apologies for invasion of privacy. But I was wondering why you were acting weird, I see why now. Your human. And I'm fine with it, however, some aren't. One of them is someone you met yesterday. And I think it's best we talk about it later. I need to get to class.

Ax tosses The Journal and a pouch of something to Haji.

(Ax): Go to town and meet in the cafe. We can talk there. But that's at noon, until then. You may do what you please. Because I'm not a parent, nor an officer. So I don't control you.

Ax stops leaning on the counter and grabs a backpack of some kind of leaves. Haji is now in Ax's house, and has this new town to explore. He decides to go outside and see where he is.

(Jasper): Oh! Hey Haji.

Haji looks to his right and sees Jasper, and another pokémon.

(???): Oh! This your friend who showed that jerk what for and saved you guys?

(Jasper): It sure is. Haji, I'll introduce you to my friend. His name is Vip.

(Vip): Nice to meet you Haji, Im Vip. And I'm an Alolan Vulpix. And your new right?

(Haji): Yes. I was about to say. Do you guys have a library or an area that holds a lot of bo-

(Vip): I know what a Library is, and yes we have one. Its north of the Café.

(Haji): Oh! Ok, thank you. See ya later!

(Vip): Alright, See ya!

(Jasper): We'll be at the cafe at noon!

The three split up. Jasper and Vip head off to the school, and Haji heads up to the library.

(Haji): How do they even build this stuff? I mean, Half these people have paws. And others with nubs.

Inside the library, is a front desk. And no more than a few isle's of books. But, each book was the size of a bible. Not to mention all the papers sticking out. In the back, a latter stood wobbling with a tiny worm like pokémon, no taller than a inch. How it one, climbed the ladder with the book, and two, how it even held the book was baffling Haji.
