Dear Morgan,
Dad is impossible! So today he comes home from work and calls me into the living room. He tells me he wants me to write a list of all the people I love. Easy right? Wrong! Apparently, it's a lot harder to do than you would think. Even so, I took it seriously. So seriously in fact, that I went through every single person I know, and let me tell you, in no way is that list long. Did that matter though? Of course not, especially when it comes to people like Nana Mary.
I'm sure you are aware of how much I love yet, despise Nana Mary. Don't get me wrong, the woman makes a mean red velvet cake, but I'm telling you, if she could get away with it, she would murder me. And before you try to say that I'm over exaggerating, last time that I stayed over at her house, we watched a documentary on serial killers. I kid you not, she sat beside me taking notes. FOR WHAT!!! What notes could she possibly need about murdering people. Now that I think about it, she's always writing in that stupid journal of hers.
Anyway, back to the list. So I spent two weeks, TWO WEEKS, writing the list. And let me tell you, things got deep. You know what he did when I gave him the list? He glanced at it for barely three seconds, gets up, goes over to the cabinet, takes out a lighter and sets it on fire before placing it in one of the empty fruit dishes.
No words.
Absolutely none.
Now I spent two weeks, two weeks of my precious time, not watching my old classic movies, not listening to music, no, I was to busy writing this stupid list and all he can do is glance at it and then burn it. Really!?! I have decided that I will not speak to him for two weeks. I think it only fair.
Anyway, I'm just writing to see how you're doing, and to rant. But mostly the former. By the way, how is Nana Mary. Were you able to find the journal she keeps. If so, did you use it to finally show how evil she is? Let me know.
Your friend,
A Frustrated kid
