Dear Frustrated Kid,

Calm down. I get it. Trust me, I mean after all I've been there. Take a few deep breaths. You good? Okay, now listen carefully. Knowing you, you probably got so mad you completely ignored everything he said. Don't shake your head, you know it's true. As I'm sure you already know, there was a deeper meaning to what he did. Before you go off, yes, I know, he spent all of three seconds looking at the list. And just like he always does, he probably just gave the cryptic response of 'one day you'll understand'. Well no matter how much you don't want to hear it, he was right.

Now that your somewhat calm, take a second to think. How many names could he read in three seconds? One? Just take a little while to cool off and think. You'll get it sooner than you expect. And remember, don't take your time with him for granted. Time doesn't stop for anyone or anything. There are lots of things that can be said and done in two weeks. Unfortunately, there will come a time where you'd give anything for just just two more days, two more minutes, even two more seconds with him.

And most importantly, always remember why he's on that list, and you're undoubtedly on his.
