She laid back in my arms and rested her head on my shoulder.
"You don't understand. When you went MIA, it wasn't only you that left. My whole heart left. I couldn't do anything. I texted everyone, searched but I couldn't gather any information other than that you ended your contract. I waited, and waited, and knew when the time was right you'd contact me and or anyone saying you were safe. As time grew on, Hwasa and Wheein said that maybe you didn't want to contact us. That broke my heart, but I still didn't give up and held faith. 11 months later, my dad made it clear i'd have to get married with bigger consequences for Eric, not me. This time, I didn't refuse. Why would I refuse? All love, happiness, emotion, and reason for me to fight was gone with you. I felt so empty and incomplete. You were the one who always came to me, had your door wide open for me when I needed it, listened to me, talked to me, and with all that gone, I felt my everything was lost. When you texted me, I was so surprised and then started to doubt it was you, that it was my mind playing games or someone else texting. When I saw it was actually you, I tried to hold back what I felt. I wanted to hug you tight so you'd never leave again and having you back felt wonderful. To know that all this time you were gone was because of me, I feel so guilty. You went through all this trouble, did all this, for me. No one has ever sacrificed, thought of me so much. You come back with all this and I- I just-"
She jumped off me, grabbed her things and stood by the door.
"I just don't know why you'd do all this when I've given, done nothing for you. I, in no way can do this to you. I don't think I can even accept this. You'll have to deal with fighting off my dad, have less time to make music, and so much more just for me. You already got injured and I feel so bad it was because of me. I think the only thing I can do is not accept this and let you live your dream. I'm sure you'll be a great CEO and you won't have such a fight starting your company off. I will find a way to make my life work and will be happy knowing you'll be doing what you love at least. I'm sure there's another girl who deserves this. Yeah-so-"
She turned to walk out the door.
