In chapter 117 Lan Zhan has a bit of a rapey dream of his lover Wei Ying.
Okay let me just start with having a dream about doing the naughty things doesn't immediately make you a pervert. Just like murdering a person in your dream doesn't make you a murderer. Again this was a dream Lan Xhan has no control over wht he dreams he isn't like some people that can just change things in their dream.
The main problem is that some(that shall be unnamed) though this chapter was romanticizing rape.

I agree that intimacy in BL is often portrayed as painful/almost always near the edge of rapey. Which is sad and disappointing that I understand.
Romanticizing Rape is wrong I agree.
However you need to understand what the fuck you are saying before you go and say it.
They seemed to miss the point that it is only a dream from Lan Zhan. but only the old incense make an influence on Lan Zhan and Wei Ying's sprit to draw them into this sexual dream. And from the novel we can see that the dream was happened long time ago, which can back from the old days when Lan Zhan did not be with Wei Ying. Lan Zhan suppressed his desire too deep, and could not vent, and then he had this dream.
Some of them were thinking about it too deeply, rape kink is not the same as wanting to rape an actual person or wanting to experience it, it's just roleplay really. Just like pet play, do you think they actually want to have sex with a dog? Or bondage, do you think they actually want to be restrained by a random person? How about masochism, do you think they want to be beat to death? Seriously?!
