The wooden door creaked open, revealing Amaya with a proud expression and a Vevorinique trailing behind her, seemingly well and her mind set off of the man she met just a while ago in the upper floor.

Amaya spun and scanned her clothes on the older woman. Despite normally staying indoors and gaming, Amaya has a sharp fashion sense and is strict about what she does with clothes. Her brown eyes scan Vevorinique and she nodded in approval. "I've done a good job. Such a nice form, and such nice clothes. Now if you'll excuse me, Ghost In The Lab awaits me. Don't bother thanking me, I need to level up my character STAT."

Amaya rushed out of the place and ran off. Going back to her game, most likely. On the other hand, Adrian scanned Vevorinique. Her body was blanketed in a black shirt and black leggings. Most of it was covered by a moderate length, velvet red coat  that reached up her thigh. It suited one of seasons in the country: Autumn.

Her wet hair was held together by a white towel, and the woman was left with her natural beauty, and bare feet. "You look pretty." Adrian said, scanning his eyes over the mopping, mysterious boy.

"But you didn't even look at me." Vevorinique laughed. "You look dazzling, dear. But if you don't mind me asking, what happened to your shoes?" The elderly woman asked, carefully closing her book, like it was a brittle fossil that she excavated.

"Oh." Vevorinique laughed. "It got wet, so I had to go out like this. They didn't have extra slippers either, so..." she explained. "But doesn't Amaya have shoes? You could've borrowed them." The elder suggested, finishing off half her drink.

"She does, but we're having a lot of problems. Mainly because of the size difference. I have a bigger foot than her." Vevorinique laughed. The older woman laughed, and pointed at the seat across from her in the table. "Sit down, dear." Vevorinique followed, and sat down, placing her arms in a folded position in front of her.

"What book are you reading?" Vevorinique asked, after a long period of silence. The older woman didn't respond, and instead lifted the book from the table so that the spine was facing the younger woman.

'Lady in Shards', it read. But that was it. There was no descriptions inscribed at the back, nor even a image for the book. It was just the name on the spine and a blank Navy Blue, possibly hard cover. "Oh," Vevorinique spoke. "What's it about?"

"Soul." The older woman said, placing the book down on the table. "Pardon?" Vevorinique answered, leaning a bit closer. "Soul's my name." Soul took her hand forward and Vevorinique took it. "Vevorinique. But you can call me 'Vevo'." She said with a smile.

"So...what's your book about, Ms. Soul?" She asked, retracting her hand. "You can call me 'Soul'. I'm not THAT old." Soul responded, smiling. "Then...how old are you?" Vevorinique spoke, fumbling with her fingers under the table. Soul took a sip of her tea, and without taking her gaze off of Vevorinique's eyes, she answered, "Didn't your parents ever tell you to never ask a woman's age?"

Vevorinique's face froze and her mouth opened just a bit before finally laughing uncomfortably and apologizing. But Soul laughed, her laugh seemingly too young for her aged face. "I'm joking. I don't really care if you ask me about my age. As weird as it may be, I'm fourty-three years old."

That statement made Vevorinique's eyes widen even more. "Fourty-three?" She echoed. Soul nodded. "Oh...I see. That would explain your bit of younger attitude." The younger woman said, while the older one raised her brow. "Was that meant to be an insult?"

Vevorinqiue shook her head, "No, I meant that as a compliment. Despite the quite of an elderly exterior, your interior is still pretty much young. That's something not a lot of people have." Soul chuckled and nodded, sipping her tea once again. The younger woman chose not to talk about the part where Soul blushed at Adrian.
