Chapter 8

The next morning Hermione smiled and woke Pavarti up, the girl smiled back at her.
"Hey Hermione, what's up?"
"Do it" Pavarti squealed and woke Lavender up, Lavender looked at them confused.
"Makeover time!! Lav get the supplies" Pavarti smirked.

The two teens cast spells over Hermione and covered her hair in products. They applied makeup and taught her how to do it herself. The teen looked in the mirror, she seemed actually pretty,

"Thanks guys" Hermione smiled at them, they told her it was fine and also changed her uniform up a bit. They tied her tie in a bow, gave her a shorter black skirt and put some more makeup on her. Her knee-high grey socks exposed some of her thighs.

"Hey Her-" Harry started but stopped when he saw her. A huge blush appeared on both their faces. "You look even more beautiful than normal" The two stood right by each other, the brunette gazed up into Harrys emerald eyes. Smiling lightly she bit her lip, without thinking she pushed her lips against his. Slightly shocked he kissed her back, his arms wrapped around her waist, she rested her arms on around his neck. A loud array of claps broke them apart, they both blushed as the whole common room clapped them.

"It's about time" Ron smirked and patted Harry on the back. "Blimey Hermione, you look better than usual" he chuckled, so did Hermione and she hit his arm lightly.

They all walked down to breakfast, Cho Chang was staring at Harry as they entered the hall. Hermione's hand was intertwined with his.

"Granger" Cho called, Hermione turned to face her. Harry and Ron were going to Divination, she had Ancient Runes.
"What?" Hermione asked responded annoyed.
"Stay away from Harry, he's mine" she scowled.
"Really? Then why did he kiss me?" She smirked and walked off down the corridor. Cho was left going red in the face.

"Hey Hermione" Padma smiled. The brunette smiled back at her.
"Hi Padma"
"You look very pretty today and also is it true that you and Harry kissed?" A blush escaped over Hermione's cheeks.
"Thanks and yes"
"Anyway, Cho Chang is definitely jealous" they stopped talking after the Professor glared at them.

"Mione" Harry smiled and kissed her lips as he saw her. Smiling she kissed him back, he placed his arms around her waist.
"Ten points from Gryffindor" Snape growled as he passed them. Glaring Harry put his middle finger up at him and continued kissing Hermione before they walked into DADA.

"Mister Potter, Miss Granger. You're both late. Twenty points from Gryffindor" Umbridge smiled evilly at them, Hermione and Harry scowled before taking their seats.

Once again Hermione learnt nothing.

Later that night Harry returned from his detention with Umbridge.
"What's that on your hand?" Hermione questioned, Harry looked at her puzzled and hid his hand away. Rolling her eyes the brunette grabbed his hand.

I must not tell lies

Was carved into his hand, blood still dripping from it.
"Harry, did Umbridge do this?" Hermione asked, shock clear in her voice.
"Umm yeah" he answered, the brunette jumped up and walked towards the door, Harry and Ron grabbed her arms to stop her.
"Hermione don't" Harry told her. Red faced and angry Hermione felt herself be pushed into the sofa by the boys.
"But"
"Not buts 'Mione, just don't. Okay? You're not getting in trouble for me" Harry said, sitting down next to her and placing his arm around her shoulders.
"Okay" she pouted. Sighing Harry kissed the top of Hermione's head. The brunette blushed and her head fell onto his shoulder.

The next morning Hermione woke up and got ready as usual, but before she could do anything Ginny had run into the room and jumped on her.
"What is it Gin?" She asked laughing.
"I just had my first kiss!" Hermione smiled and hugged her.
"With Michael right?"
"Yes! I'm not that bad" Ginny laughed, Hermione chuckled.
"I just wish that you-know would notice me" She sighed and looked up at the roof of the canopy bed.
"She will, I promise"
"Thanks 'Mione"
