MJ's Sister

Thirteen.

It's been 8 weeks since that frightful thing and I have been getting sick in the morning for a couple of days. I am going to the hospital and Peter is coming with me since I asked him too. I put my hair in a curly ponytail and light make up. I have a quick breakfast and leave. Me and Peter go to the hospital as soon as he meets me outside. We go inside and check in. I smile at him and he smiles back. We get called in. 

I sit down. "I'm Luisa, we're gonna do a test and since this is your first pregnancy we'll do it. Go pee in a cup." said Luisa. I go and do it. I come back and she tests it. "Well your pregnant. You have options" said Luisa. "I was raped and I was thinking of adoption" said Nina. "Well OK. I can contact social workers. You will have a chance to decline when the baby is born and after you hold him or her" said Luisa. I nod and she does a scan. "There's the sac there" said Luisa. She gives me a picture and we go to a cafe. "I'm pregnant" said Nina. "I know" said Peter. I grab his hand. "What will happen in school?" asked Nina. "I don't know. I can say the baby is mine?" said Peter. "No. Then they'd ask why did we put it up for adoption" said Nina. "True" said Peter. "No. I'll say I was raped" said Nina. Peter nods and takes my hand. "A date, tonight" said Peter. "I'd love too" said Nina. He smiles. "So I will protect you from everything." said Peter. I smile and hug him. "I-I have to tell MJ, Mum and dad" said Nina. "I know. That's shit, isn't it" said Peter. I nod. We go home and MJ, mum and dad are sitting there. (step-dad but I MJ and me call him dad). "I um have news. I am pregnant" said Nina. "Are you getting an abortion?" asked Mum. "No. I am putting the baby up for adoption" said Nina. "Oh are you sure?" asked mum. "Honey, it's her choice" said dad. "OK" said mum. MJ nods. "I'm gonna kill that bastard!" said MJ. "MJ no. We need to lay low. Don't stress" said Nina. Mum looks at us. "I have news... your real dad wants to meet you" said mum. I nod. MJ frowns. "I.... when?" asked Nina. "Next Monday." said mum. "That's quick.... I don't know" said MJ. "MJ.... his your dad" said mum. "No Jason is our dad! He did not abandon us!" said MJ. I look down. "MJ.... mum's right.... his our dad. I love Jason like a dad but aren't you curious about him anyway?" asked Nina. MJ shakes her head. "No. I have dad. I don't need the sperm donor." said MJ. I just nod. I look around. "I.... am gonna stay with Peter tonight, is that alright? With Zayn owning the apartment beside us I don't feel safe" said Nina. Mum nods. MJ nods and goes to her room. I go pack and we go to Peter's apartment. 

I say hi to May and then sit on his bed. "Thank you for letting me stay" said Nina. "Anything for you, Ni" said Peter. I smile and hug him. "I'm scared." said Nina. "I will protect you" said Peter. "Thank you" said Nina. "So would you like to go on a date with me?" asked Peter. "I'd love too" said Nina. I smile and we have Chinese. I smile and dig in. "So your mum called me to say your dad is meeting you next Monday" said May. I nod. "It's fine. I'm fine. MJ isn't" said Nina. "Ah OK. Well it's getting late" said May. "I'm pregnant.... I'm giving the baby up for adoption" said Nina. May stands up and hugs me. "Oh baby girl, everything will be fine, I promise, OK" smiled May. "Thank you" said Nina. 

We go to bed and I sleep beside Peter and it feels amazing!

Peter is my saving grace!
