"bro you need to stop lazing around and find yourself a girl z," edwin says to me as i drink a cup of water.

"i would, but these girls really ain't worth it ed and you know it," i told him slouching on my chair and placing my cup on the table.

he chuckles, "i mean yeah i guess you right. none of these girls are perfect for you, but you been single for like your whole damn life."

"stop playing with me. you havent moved on from tiffany so don't come for me nigga." i laughed.

"bruh ive been over her. she dated a shrek looking man older than her so i don't see why i would still be stuck up on her."

i busted out laughing and punched him on the shoulder. "that's dirty."

he laughed and looked over at the people dancing in the living room. "i did love tiffany though, but that's ancient history now. im tired of being single and lonely. i want someone that can forreal vibe with me, you know? and that would stick with me til the end."

i nodded. "exactly. that's why i ain't got a girl yet. i don't want to waste my time on someone who wouldn't be worth it. so im just waiting for the right one to just pop right into my life."

"how would you know if she'll be the right one?" he ask raising an eyebrow.

"i'll just know," i simply said.

i haven't been with any girls. well i have had a little fun with some of them, but i didn't take them seriously because i know they wasn't the one i truly wanted. i never tried searching for a girl. my mom told me when i was 12 years old that one day, the women i will love til the day i die will soon walk into my life only if im patient with my time and that that women would be the luckiest girl in the world to have me by their side.

i stuck with that advice ever since. my mom was always wise about me finding love since i used to be desperate to find myself a girlfriend when i was little.

she taught me how to have patience.

"aye guys, i want y'all to meet some people," i heard nick say and i looked up.

i saw three girls standing there with him. they weren't the girls i usually see here at the parties so i guess they're new. i observed them, but somehow i couldn't stop looking at one specific girl.

she made eye contact with me and i suddenly felt frozen. everyone and everything around me felt frozen except for her.

she was beautiful. angelic. breathtaking.

the green eyes she has is making me want to tell her how beautiful they are, but im feeling tongue tied. the soft and smooth light brown skin she has makes me want to pull her and feel her touch, but i cant move from my spot.

her body was perfect in so many ways. the black strapless dress hugged her body showing her perfectly shaped curves. her dress stopped above her knees, showing her perfect brown smooth legs. her hips popped out showing the unique structure of her body. just everything about her overall was perfect.

even looking at the air forces on her feet i couldn't help but smile at her because her style was just beyond amazing. a girl who wears dresses with their air forces? i love it.
