Soft hours~Beel x reader

Ferris wheels. Cotton candy. Roller coasters. That was the epitome of carnivals, I absolutely loved carnivals maybe not the roller coasters in general but I just loved the fun that came out at a carnival. The atmosphere was amazing and somehow Beel knew and invited me to one. It was fairly close to Hells Kitchen, which wasn't far from the house either. 

I was ecstatic for today. The nights before I laid in bed restless thinking about all the fun we'd have on the trip. From my knowledge, Asmodeus and Lucifer were coming too and I had no problem with it even with my little crush on the avatar of gluttony. He was just too soft and made my heart squeal. Another reason why I was more than happy to tag along.

 I was still in my room and we were leaving in a few minutes, I had my outfit on and was basically ready for the day. Glancing at the clock my eyes avert to the small present box I made for Beel. Inside were little vanilla heart biscuits with orange icing on top, I decided to make them for him as a sign of gratitude and possibly a form of confession...I was contemplating whether I should bring them with me or not.

Then there was a rhythmic knock at my door. My heard swirled around to the door, I stepped to make my way over but the voice cut me off before I could say anything.

"OOOHHH Y/N~ We're all ready and we're waiting for you~ So I'm just gonna come in now darling,"  The door swung open and I froze.

My hand was outstretched towards the small box and Asmodeus glanced at me and the box then clapped in excitement. I couldn't hide anything from him can I? He ran over closer to me and looked at what I called a present for Beel. "Confession. Confession, I didn't know you liked Beel," He pouted.

He dramatically holds a hand to his forehead, pretending to be hurt. He closed both of his eyes and I raised my eyebrow, so I hurt his narcissistic side? His mouth curled downwards and then opened one eye to glance at me. 

He hopped back and curiously tapped my cheek.

"Are you going to tell him today dear?"

His moods changed so fast, it was worse than a girl on her period. I thought for a second, I didn't want to make my relationship break apart if he didn't have mutual feelings. The little spark of doubt sat at the back of my head.

"I don't know Asmodeus, we should get going now,"

We got separated. 

Already.

 I facepalm as we watched Asmodeus dragged Lucifer away from us. Lucifer tried stopping his brother bit his joyous energy was too much. I guess that was one way of Asmodeus helping me out, in the end, I brought the biscuits in case this would happen but I was so nervous.

Beel scratched the back of his head and tapped my shoulder making me turn around to face him.

"What do you wanna do first?" 

I placed a finger on my lip and looked around the area, the was a lot of people and heaps of stalls bustling with busy demon workers. Children dotted the whole area running, screaming, eating, shouting all of them radiating their energy around like it was contagious- which it was. I was so tempted to run over to a ride and drag Beel on it, for now, I just acted cool I couldn't mess it up.

"Why don't we go find some cotton candy?"

The sound of food made Beel smile instantly, his hand clasped mine. I looked at my hands and back up at him. He smiles, my heart flutters at the touch of his warm hands around mine.

"Don't want you getting lost, it's pretty crowded today." 

I nodded and we made our way to the closest cotton candy stall, we waited in line and watched the customers get served. Once we made it to the front of the line, the stall worker decided to make two but one big one because she thought we were a couple. I blushed and handed her the amount of Grimm needed.

"No miss take mine," says Beel, curling my fingers inwards- covering my Grimm that I was about to give to the lady.

I gave him a look. The lady serving us looked us in awe and smiled but it seemed more like a smirk than it was as a smile. 

"Beel-"

He dropped his money into the lady's hand and grabbed hand pulling me away from the stall.

"Here you go, thank you for having us"

The lady nodded to us and sighed. Beel moved through the crowd and we found a bench to sit on.

"You didn't have to do that Beel, "I say bashfully putting the coins in my pocket. 

He smiles and picked off a piece of pink sugary fluff.

"I wanted to, it's my treat Y/N,"

I could feel my cheeks heating, and I nodded.

We then went on every ride and tried out every single game in the area, the sun was setting and still didn't bump into Asmodeus or Lucifer. They were nowhere to be seen. Beel and I were now were walking at the public gardens close to where the carnival was. I walked over to patch of grass with flowers surrounding the edges and sat down. I inclined for Beel to join me.

He grinned and took a seat next to me, we sat there momentarily watching the Devildom sky turn a fiery red. Going down in a gradient of orange and pinks. The view was beautiful and I then suddenly feel Beel's hand cover mine. I jolted in surprise and Beel reflexively bounced back.

"I-I'm sorry Y/N I-" he starts stuttering his face turning brighter and brighter. His hands held up in surrender and I sighed. 

I shuffled closer to him patting his arm. His panicked expression dropped and I then turned back to my bag and fetched my box. Extending my arms I held it out to him and looked away.

"Beel-I-really-really-like-you-but-it's-perfectly-fine-if-you-don't-feel-the-same-I-understand," 

My eyes were clenched hard and I felt his hand rest on my head, gently ruffling it. His hand slides down to my cheek and I open my eyes. His light orange eyes connect with mine.

"I-I like you too, I-t's been a while," His hand drops and his eyes soften.
