Blankets & Popcorn~Simeon x reader

No way did the Simeon I knew was willingly obliging to watch a thriller, in my case, it wasn't my fault. Mammon had walked into Simeon's dorm while I was there and caught us pondering into space- well I was Simeon actually was doing something productive than I was- he then threw us a CD and said it was a sign of gratitude from Levi to Simeon. 

I glanced at the both of them, nowhere in a million years would ever watch a thriller, alone that is and that's how the movie night commenced. Mammon had left unfortunately because he had a scolding due to his older brother. Simeon and I were on the couch bundled up in a blanket munching on popcorn as the opening credits started.

That's when the door suddenly slammed open and I jumped in my seat, taking hold of a chunk of the covers. The chills were getting to me and the movie hasn't even started. The door swung back and a dainty beige hat came into sight. I sighed in relief it was only Luke.

"What are you guys doing? Snuggling up together on the couch and eating, never knew you two were a thing," He mischievously says looking at me frightened state.

Simeon chuckled and nodded at his fellow angel, he lifted an eyebrow. I settled back down and the first scenes were appearing on the screen.

"We're merely watching a movie Luke, care to join us? There's more than enough room here," 

Shuffling sideways, Simeon was at the end and I was in middle. I patted the space next to me, including for Luke to sit with us. He folded his arms and shook.

"I have things to do- oh and see ya," At those words, he disappeared from the room.

An hour passed and I was terrified, I was never good at handling these kinds of things. Even as I child I refused to sit down and watch anything that involved clowns and balloons. The one deadly encounter had made me petrified of town drains and paper boats. The blanket was over my face covering my eyes so I couldn't see what was going on. 

The protagonist screamed, and a gushing sound followed on from her piercing shriek. Her partner was breathing deeply most likely shocked at what was going on, this was the audio and that was scary enough. Then I feel a hand on my head, I rose slightly and Simeon was smiling down at me.

"Scared?" he asks.

I chewed the inside of my cheek, embarrassed. 

"...Very,"

He put down the bowl of popcorn onto the floor and stretched his arms out, gesturing for me to come closer. I turned scarlet and slowly crawled into his arms as he cradled me. He threw the blanket over us and my eyes averted back to the film. 

The pool of blood saturated the dark ground, spilling all directions as the body came hurling afterwards. The antagonist came into light and wiped its talons with the side of its mouth, it lumbered forward swaggeringly. The sky turned a turned pitch black, the scene the shifted into a corridor. At this point, I was clutching the blanket so hard. Simeon chuckled and held me closer to me and could hear his heartbeat.
