| taissa's pov |
"this place is huge." i said as my eyes excitedly examined the place. it has a lot of booths and rides that i like.
finally.
"taissa!" i turned around and saw tessa holding a big and weird looking teddy bear. evan was right beside her, looking like he was about to bash someone's face in.
i gave tessa a hug and asked, "where'd you win this?" she giggled.
"actually," she pulled evan closer to her, "he won it for me."
"aw, evan. that is so cute." he rolled his eyes, "it was just a lucky throw, i guess." i heard jeff cough behind me, shit, i totally forgot about him.
"oh, by the way, this is-"
"jeff." he stretched his arm towards them and they gladly took it. eventhough there was a smile on her face, i could sense tessa's confusion.
"i thought she was with kyle?" i heard her murmur under her breath and it made me chuckle.
"he's just a friend, tess. we met at a coffee shop before i went here."
"oh." her cheeks flushed, evan was still silent though.
weird.

"let's go there." i pointed to a roller coaster ride that barely has people in line.
"are you sure you can handle that?" he smirked and i playfully rolled my eyes as i nudged his shoulder.
when we were safely buckled in, i looked around the place and my adrenaline rush was up to the roof. to be honest, i was so intimidated that i could feel my palms forming sweat.
i heard a sound of laughter roll beside me and it made me chuckle.
"you said you can handle this." he said as the engines started and we began to move up.
"y-yeah..i can." i stuttered under my shallow breathes. the sky was breathtakingly beautiful and everything went slowly.
"you're so beautiful.."
"what?" i felt myself falling and realized that the ride was heading down for the drop. i screamed at the top of my lungs and laughed a few seconds later.
"this is awesome." i heard jeff say beside me, but my ears were blocked by the rush of air.
"get ready for the picture." flashes blinded my eyes, quite literally.

"oh god, my hair is a mess." i laughed at my tornado-like hair and distorted face.
"pfft. look at my face." his face looks like he was about to drop the biggest shit on earth. i laughed at the thought.
jeff bought the pictures in key chain form so that, as he said, we could reminisce to this day.
"that was so fun. holy shit." i'm still out of breath. i kind of underestimated the ride a little bit, but i handled it pretty nice.
"yeah. you should've seen your face when the first drop came." oh god. i probably looked like a crossbreed of shrek and hulk. he started laughing so i did too. his laugh is contagious.

we hopped on every booth, but we weren't in luck, i guess. i sighed in defeat. i feel like i lost my energy at every game.
"let's try this one." he pointed to a water gun game, but i just shrugged my shoulder. i'm kind of tired of losing. i pouted and he smiled.
"i'll just sit over there and watch you play." i gave him a smile and left him without a second word.
