A/N

Hey! I can't really think of anything for the next chapter, so Merb's helping. I also didn't want to just leave you here with no Dack content, so I've decided to work on some short stories that are unrelated to the main story line. These will be titled US  for unrelated story. I hope you understand. Most of these were written anywhere from 11:00pm to 4:00am. Also, some of the content that Jack is describing during his episode may be disturbing to some readers.

Declan's P.O.V

Jack and I were eating out for the third time this week. We didn't really have any ingredients in the fridge at home. Our conversation didn't have a topic, but that was fine. I just liked talking to him. Anyways, we had just been handed our bill.

"Remember when you wanted to induce sleep paralysis?" I asked.

"I'm still trying to do that," he said bluntly.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The waiter came back. We quickly paid.

"Thank you," Jack said quietly.

"Have a nice night!" I smiled.

The waiter smiled back.

"Good luck, you two!" He called.

I guess he noticed that we were dating?

"Thank you," we responded.

We opened the doors and headed outside into the frigid air. I reached for Jack's hand. We twined our fingers together. I suppose that I forgot that it was winter, because I didn't bring a coat.

"You look cold," Jack pointed out.

"I am," I responded.

"Here," he said. He let go of my hand and pulled me into him. He draped his coat over my shoulders.

"Now you'll be cold."

"Your love is enough to keep me warm."

"Awe," I blushed. "That was really cheesy."

"I know."

The walk home wasn't too long. Before I knew it, we were in our condominium.  We played card games for a few hours, before going to bed. We were both pretty tired, so we changed into our nightwear and walked into our room. We still slept the same way that we did in Disney land- him to the wall, me away from it. He climbed into bed. I turned off the light and followed.

"Goodnight," he whispered.

"Goodnight."

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

I couldn't help but notice that he was sleeping on his back. He usually slept on his left side, facing me. A long time ago, Jenna had said something about those who sleep in the supine position being more likely to have sleep paralysis than those who didn't. I still couldn't figure out why he wanted sleep paralysis.

I woke up at five thirty in the morning. I opened my eyes to see that Jack, too, was awake. At least, his eyes were open. Then I realized something: he usually moves quite a bit. He was completely still, unblinking. His breathing was also weird. Then it hit me:

He's done it. He induced sleep paralysis.

A single tear ran down the side of his perfect face. He must've been terrified. I didn't know what to do. I wrapped my arms around him.
