Kairis POV
"Cosentino, faster!" My coach shouted at me from across the field. We were one point away from winning the game and technically the whole team was relying on me because I was the one closest to the goal. "Kairi, heads up!" Max, our team captain shouted while kicking the ball towards me.
From the corner of my eye, as I was about to receive the ball, I could see this thing moving at high speeds and the next thing I know is that my body landed hard on the grass.
Mattias POV
I honestly feel so proud of my baby. He is about to bring the whole team to a win. This last point is his goal. I saw Max kick the ball towards Kairi so basically I just guarded the guy on the opposite team who was closest to me. I didn't hear Kairi say anything, whcih was weird because everytime he'd recieve the ball, he would aknowledge it. Suddenly, I see #18, the guy from the other team literally elbow the hell out of Kairis small body. His small frame flew backwards and hit his head on the hard grass. "No!" I screamed. I ran over to Kairi while the referee called a penalty on #18.
I tried shaking Kairi for him to wake up but there was no response. I heard so many people screaming behind me
"Bruh I didn't know he'd freaking fly if I shoved him a bit"
"Someone call an ambulance"
"Put him on the bench or something"
My head was spinning because I couldn't process what was going on. What if he's in a coma? What if he doesn't remember me when he wakes up? I buried my head into my hands hoping a miracle would happen. There were sirens and flashing lights around me. Then I felt someones hands wrap around my waist, so I turned around and saw it was Alejandro. "Tia, they are asking us to give way so they could help kai." He said that while pulling me to the side. He wiped my tears and said "Tia stop crying, everything will be alright, the whole squad will be here for Kai"
The emergency responders told us to just follow to the hospital because we weren't immediate family members. His mom and Maiya were on the ambulance with Kai. Roshaun drove to the hospital because I couldn't stop crying and Ale was just trying to calm me down. "Its gon be alright bro, Kai is a fighter" Alvaro said. Ale just stroked my hair until I fell asleep in the car.
Its Kairis 4th day here in the hospital and its finally the day he gets to go home! "Kai bub, are you excited to leave this hell hole?" I said while looking into Kairis tired eyes. "Of course, I cant wait to cuddle with you, if it werent for that stuck up nurse, I wouldve let you stay beside me." He giggled. He has such a cute laugh.
"Mr. Cosentino, I am Dr. Roy" the doctor said while entering the room, and Kais mom soon followed behind. "i know it is your last day here in the hospital but that doesnt entirely mean you can continue with your regular routines. First, no sports please, as we all know, you hit the ground pretty hard so give your body a rest first. Second, no sexual activities yet for 7 days." He said that and Kairi giggled followed by his mom giving him the side eye. "Kairi, this is important, do not walk up and down the stairs, do not stress yourself, and when you sit up from bed, do it very slowly as to not startle the stitches on it." The doctor then faced Kairis mom to explain his diet plans and physical recovery plan. While they did that, I took that as an opportunity to tell Kai something.
I bent down to his ear level and said "Aww, doc said no sexual activities yet huh. Just imagine me on the 8th day pinning you unto the bed watching you tremble for my touch." Kairis eyes widened and a blush arose from his cheeks. "Oops- whatchu got there?" I asked him while looking down at his sweats where a bulge was forming. "Mattia, stop it, how am I supposed to deal with this now??" He whisper screamed. I just shrugged my shoulders followed by a little laugh.

Im sorry yall, im gonna make it up to you guys. Ive just been stressing with online class and im so behind with all my school work. Sadly, soon, our school is gonna allow teachers to force us to open our cameras 🤡. So much for my insecurities huh :)
