"I'll have one Choco Vanilla. And you?" I turned around to see Mr. Jeon but bumped into a chest.

Oh God.

I looked up and saw him looking down at me, his eyes very close to mine.

"Your order?" I whispered.

"I'll have the same." He whispered back and smiled.

I turned around and gave the order.

"Please add some choco chips on mine." I added.

"Mine too then." I could hear Mr. Jeon say that behind me.

The lady at the counter smiled while looking down at the floor. She picked up two cones and filled them with the ice-creams. We took them and paid the bill.

Mr. Jeon moved towards one of the tables and sat on a chair.

"What are you doing?" I asked him as he licked his ice-cream like a small child.

"I'm sitting, why?" He asked while devouring his cone pleasurably.

"Come out. I didn't bring you here to sit." I said and left the parlour.

He didn't come out.

I didn't wait for him and started walking on the pavement. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps behind me and as expected, Mr. Jeon Jungkook was running towards me, his ice-cream cascading down his hand and his legs failing to maintain speed. He was stumbling.

"Aaahhh easy easy!"

"Yah! H-how can I aaaah....how do you..." He took a deep breath. "How can you-huh huh, just...leave me-uhhh like that?"

"I told you to come out."

"But I wanted to finish my ice-cream first! I thought you'd wait. See, it's all waste now." He showed me his brown and white hand with a pout on his face.

How can this man be forty years old when he's clearly not behaving a day more than a five year old kid? Not that I'm complaining...it's actually very cute. Weird yes, but cute? HELL YES!

"Ugh, I wanted to have ice-cream together on the nearby beach..." I confessed and ran my head through my hair.

"Oh...that? You..could've told me right?"

"Mr. Jeon, there are things like "surprises" that exist in this world!" I exclaimed in a firm voice.

"Oh...I'm so sorry Miss Seo-Yeon..."

"You can call me just Seo-Yeon."

"Okay, I'm sorry Just Seo-Yeon." He apologized with a serious face.

"You know what?! Leave it! I'm going."

I turned around once again and started walking on the path. The beach was just a few minutes away.

He came beside me while laughing, "Do you know how cute you look when you're mad?" He asked while laughing.

I didn't look at him and just kept going.

"Yes, I know. Big Mommy tells me that all the time!" I said and ate my ice-cream.

"Big Mommy?"

I mentally slapped myself as I realised I'd just spilt an embarrassing secret. My cheeks flushed red and I tried to hide my nervousness.

"Yeah...that's my Grandma. I used to call her that when I was a little girl. I once asked my Mom who she was because she played with me and loved me dearly so she told me that she was her Mom. As she was older than her, I started calling her 'Big Mommy'. "

"Aww, that's cute!" He looked at me and gave a bunny smile.

Those CHEEKS!

I'm going to sue this man for making a 30 year old mature woman fangirl like a naive teenager for him.

"Thanks."

We walked in silence for some time. I wanted to ask him if he was married and that child was his, if he had separated from his wife or was it just that they were still friends after the divorce but I couldn't. Not when the night sky looked so wholesome with the twinkling stars and the sound of the waves could be heard in the distance. Not when he was beside me closing his eyes from time to time while talking deep breaths. Not when the sweet taste of the ice-cream tasted even sweeter because of the situation I was in...

Just not at the moment.

"If you want, I can share." I asked him and offered him my cone.

"I thought you'd never ask."

And much to my surprise, he took the cone from my hands and took a large bite.

"Your hand still has the cream on it." I said and pointed to his creamy hand with which he was having the ice-cream.

"I don't have a handkerchief." He looked me innocently as he took one more bite of the almost finished cone.

"Are you serious? Really Mr. Jeon?" I squinted my eyes at him.

"What?" He said while shoving the remaining cone into his mouth, finally finishing it.

"How can you not have a handkerchief with you?" I asked him in total amusement.

"Hey don't blame me. I tend to forget things. I'm becoming old now."

"That's no reason, you still look handso—nevermind, okay." I quickly tried to cover up the blunder I had almost created. How could I just tell him he looked young for the number his age was? I didn't want to look like a desperate woman.

"Here take this." I took out my handkerchief out from my dress pocket and handed it to him.

"No need Miss. I'm fine. Thank you." He politely refused.

"Ughhhh! I can't handle sticky things. Wait!"

I took his hand in my own, not caring about the look he might give me and just wiped the cream off his palms. I folded the cloth and put it inside my pocket, careful that the creamy side didn't touch my cloth.

Mom would kill me if that happened.

He didn't say anything and we just continued walking until we reached the beach. I immediately took off my heels and started running on the sand.

"YAYYYYYYYY!" I rose my arms up in the air and ran as much as I could in the dim light of the moon.

I didn't care about anything in the world. I was happy and I wanted to express that to the fullest.

I turned around and saw him standing on the sand with his shoes off, both of his hands stuffed in his pant's pockets.

"You really like this place, huh?" He sweetly asked.

I could feel my self-consciousness make its way back to me. He had been watching me all along...

"Y-Yeah...don't you like it?" I asked him, fearful that he might think of it as a waste of time.

"It's nice but I'm not liking it as much as I usually do." He arrogantly spoke, his words belittling the little confidence I had.

"Oh..."

I wanted to go back home and crawl into the arms of Big Mommy.

"It's because I'm liking my companion more."
