Jungkook's P.O.V
I looked up at the stars with Taehyung beside me.
I turned to him to see him already staring at me fondly.
'Is this a dream..?'
I went closer as I pressed our foreheads together.
My vision blurred as I closed my eyes, moving my hand to intertwine it with his.
"Please tell me this isn't a dream, Tae..."
I heard him chuckle, making me open my eyes to see him smiling softly, feeling each other's breath on our faces.
"It isn't.. now, would you let me kiss you?" He asked, slightly feeling a little shy.
I smiled and didn't give him an answer as I pressed my lips with his.
'... I love you.'
Author's P.O.V
Taehyung froze at Jungkook's sudden action until he gave in as he smiled into the kiss, holding the younger closer.
Hoseok looked up at the stars as well as he sat down above Taehyung and Jungkook's heads.
"How wondrous would it be to be free with the one you love..?" He whispered as he smiled sadly until he heard the voice of the Goddess that he had always served.
You've done well Hoseok. Perhaps I hadn't told you that your job is done.
"What do you mean?"
As a matchmaker for so many decades, your final mission was to bring these two back together.
And today, is the day i'm setting you free from your duty, it's time for you to step down, my dear Hoseok.
The matchmaker's eyes widened.
"No way.."
The enchanting voice had giggled as she hummed.
Yes way, i'm giving you a second chance to live as a human, this time, you'll meet your soulmate~
When Taehyung and Jungkook pulled away from the kiss, Jungkook noticed a figure above them as he screamed when Hoseok appeared out of nowhere.
"WHO THE FU-MOMMYYYYYY THE STORIES WERE REAL!-"
Taehyung laughed as he covered his lover's mouth while Hoseok blinked.
"Wait.. huh?"
Then realization hit Taehyung as he snapped his head towards Hoseok.
"Why can he see you? Hoseok, did you touch a human?"
Hoseok shook his head as he scratched the back of his head, smiling sheepishly.
"Apparently, the Goddess had set me free from being a matchmaker."
