Taehyung's P.O.V

"Tae... Taehyung.. Taehyung!"

I jolted up in surprise as my vision was blurred, maybe from the tears.

I wiped my tears and turned to see Jungkook staring at me with worried eyes.

"Jungkook..?" I called out.

"I heard you screaming, so I had to-"

I cut him off as I pulled him into a tight hug, letting myself cry on his shoulder.

"Y-you're alive.." I stuttered.

Jungkook's P.O.V

I frowned and rubbed his back.

"Of course I am.. why wouldn't I be?"

Until realization hit me, he had a nightmare of me dying.

I pulled away from him as I cupped his face, wiping away his tears.

"What was it about?" I asked, even though I think I already knew what it was.

He let out a shaky breath as he averted his gaze. "Y-you were in a hospital bed.. in the end of the dream, Jimin ran out to get the doctor because your heartbeat started slowing down. It scared me.." he answered.

"And... did you know why it happened?" I asked again, pressing my forehead against his.

He slowly shook his head as he let out a shaky breath.

"No.."

I smiled a little as I nuzzled our noses together.

"That won't happen Tae... i'm still here, I'm not going anywhere.." I comforted.

He wrapped his arms around me once again as he frowned.

"But if that wasn't the c-case.. what if y-you start loving someone else..?" He asked, letting his insecurities go.

I placed my arms on his shoulders as I closed my eyes.

"Oh Taehyung... you think too much. Loving someone isn't as easy as we think.. you get insecure and think that maybe you aren't good enough for the other."

"It's easy to say you love someone, but it's hard to actually do so.. but besides that, we're soulmates.. that bond can't be broken."

I opened them as I stared at Taehyung's features.

"As time passes by, that certain bond just goes deeper, and deeper.. because we both care."

"And when I say I love you.. I mean it. Feelings don't go easily Taehyung.. if I were to be completely honest with you, don't expect me to lose my love for you."

I pulled away my arm as I pointed at my heart. "This, is where you are now. No one can take your place..."

I confessed with a soft smile.

Until he had focused his gaze on me.

"Jimin hyung used to keep it without him knowing, I wouldn't hide that fact... but this time, this place is only for you. And it will continue to be yours until you.." I trailed off, smiling sadly.

"...Give up on me..."
