Jimin's P.O.V

I stared at Jungkook surprised. "You.. what?"

"I-i've loved you Park Jimin..! Just knowing that you see me as a brother hurts me.. it shoves a knife so deeply into my wound, over and over again." He choked out.

I stared at him speechless as he smiled sadly.

"I don't want to force myself into you hyung.. you're happier with Yoongi hyung, I don't want to ruin anything.. so hopefully we'd still stay as friends.."

"But, please... leave me some space to sort myself out.." he pleaded as Taehyung supported Jungkook, the both of them leaving me alone.

I sighed, looking down.

"I'm sorry my little Kookie..." I whispered as a stray tear fell.

"I can only see you as my brother, and nothing more.. maybe it was a mistake to promise something like that, it made your hopes up.."

I wiped away the tears that couldn't help but fall as I made my way back to the party.

'I'm sorry I didn't notice that I hurt you so badly..'

Taehyung's P.O.V

"You're such a mess." I said as I sat him down in the living room.

"I'm... willing to let him go now.."

I stared at him in disbelief.

"What?"

Author's P.O.V

"For jaw's sake Jungkook, why are you turning your back on the one you so desired?"

The boy looked down with a frown. "I don't want to try to fit myself with them when they already have each other, I don't want to ruin anything with his loved one, they deserve each other..."

"I only came to your life to save you, it ruined me.. don't you know that I sacrificed my whole purpose just to let you live?" Taehyung asked as he sat beside the boy with a frown.

"I'm nothing now."

The brunette then took a hold of the redhead's hand as he slowly looked up with tears prickling his eyes.

"Then let me be your purpose.."

The redhead's eyes widened in surprise.

"You were right Taehyung... my love for him became a habit.." Jungkook admitted as he let Taehyung's hand go, pulling his legs close to his chest.
