Ever since, Dispatch releases a series of the rumored couple, multiple eyes have been on them. These two hugely popular artists are both signed under BigHit Entertainment, so many eyes were on the company. BigHit finally released a statement.

After numerous speculations over the past couple of days about their possible relationship, we have decided to openly address the rumors regarding our artists Lina and BTS' Kim Taehyung.
After discussing with both Lina and Taehyung, we hereby confirm that Lina and Taehyung in fact have been dating since March of 2018. They have thought carefully over the decision of publicize their relationship and both have chosen to reveal their relationship. They didn't want to exclude this information from fans however they wished to keep the relationship a secret until they both felt comfortable speaking about it.
"We love all the fans that support us and cheered us on with our respective careers. We're grateful for their support and wish that they continue to support us," they told us. "We wanted to be honest with fans about this part of our lives. Although it may be a shock to fans, we thank those who support us individually and together."
We hope fans that continue to support them.
With the news of the confirmation of their relationship, both fandoms took to Twitter to trend #Taena which is their ship name alongside other hashtags such as #congratulationsvandlina and #bighitcouple trend worldwide in the top 10.
