Toni's pov
Toni sat in the cell with no way of telling the time. Her phone was taken away and there were no clocks in view. She counted the minutes in her head as it was the only way she could pass the time, by keeping track of it. The bench she was laying on was uncomfortable and made her lower backside stiff. The room's temperature was freezing, well past below unbearable. She kept in mind, she wasn't staying at the Five Seasons.
Although the stay was unpleasant, it wasn't her first time staying at the station locked in one of their narrow holding cells. Toni thought of the Southside High raid that took place only a few days preceding. She had spent less than an hour in the much more cramped cell with nearly 15 other Southside students.

Hours had past and the sun began to rise, lighting up the station and the cells. Toni looked over to the officer standing guard near her cell who had just received an order on his radio. She stared as the officer walked to the other end of the room, out of Toni's sight. She heard keys jingle and the door unlocking as multiple voices began to enter the room.
"Topaz, you here?" she heard Jughead's voice heading towards her cell.
"Sweets, Jug, Veronica?" Toni's face lit up seeing her friends. They stood right in front of her, on the other side of the bars
"Looks like Tiny got herself stuck in a real pile of shit this time," Sweetpea added with a hint of concern "Can't you walk through the bars to get out?" he said sarcastically.
"You just can"t be serious for one minute," Jughead raised his eyebrows to the taller Serpent.
"Have you met Sweetpea?" Toni chuckled, crossing her arms.
"How are you holding up, Toni?" Veronica warped her hand around one of the bars.
"Besides the fact that I might get convicted for a murder I didn't commit, good you could say, it's just a bit chilly in here," she rubbed her arms "You guys do believe that I'm innocent, right?"
"Of course we do, I've known you since middle school," Sweetpea gave a reassuring grin "you would never do something like this and besides, you were with me when it happened on July fourth," Toni remembered that day, she was with Sweetpea and some other Serpents decorating the Whyte Wyrm for the fourth of July event.
"Couldn't you just tell the Sheriff she was with you," Veronica turned her head to Sweetpea.
"He wouldn't be able to prove it," Jughead added "and unless you want the Sheriff to know a high schooler is bartending at the Wyrm to make some money, maybe it wouldn't be the best alibi either,"
"You have any idea who would do this to you?" Veronica turned her head back to Toni.
"I haven't the faintest clue," Toni sighed.
"Well, whoever framed you is really dedicated, they planted some pretty convincing evidence," Veronica said as she rummaged through her black purse.
"Yeah, I know about the duffle bag, I was there when it happened, I was the one it was happening to!" Toni pointed out the obvious.
"No, I'm talking about this," she said before placing her phone in Toni's hand.
"Wait, i-is that my..." Toni squinted her eyes as she brought the screen closer to her face.
"Yes, it is,"
Cheryl's pov
Cheryl walked down the grand staircase, combing her ginger hair. She headed to the dining room where her parents were eating boiled eggs for breakfast.
