Ready or Not

      I sat in my room listening to 'Immortals' by Fall Out Boy. They are one of my favorite bands. I love this song so much. Hiro left a little while ago. I hear the sound of a front door open. She's home. I ran down stairs. "Mom!"I shouted. "It's nice to see you Hun." Said my tired mother. 'What do you want for dinner." I asked. "You don't need to worry about me baby. I'm going out with Gareth." Said my mother. "Well you have fun"I said while quickly running to my room.

     Gareth was evil. I didn't like him. He smelled weird to. I did not want to be near him. I laid down in my bed. Looking over at my 3-D printer I saw that it was almost done making 5,000 'Helping Hands'. I needed 20,000 for my presentation. The printer went off meaning that bucket was full. I grabbed another one and put it underneath. I sighed, was I not good enough for Hiro? You know what? Whatever he can live his life his way. i'm not gonna stop him. I climed into bed and fell asleep.

*1 week later*

       It was here! Today was finally here. I packed the boxes making sure they were closed and ready. "You Ready Mira." Asked a goofy smiling Hiro. "Yes, No, maybe? I don't know. What happens if I don't get the scholarship... Then I can't go.."  I said.  Hiro put both his hands on my shoulders. "Mira, You look at me. You. Will. Be. Fine. You are one of the most genius people I know. Now you have five other friends who no the same thing. Make us proud." Said a serious Hiro. I wrapped my arms around Hiro.

   "Thank you... for being my best friend. I wouldn't ask for anyone else." I said while hugging.  I quickly pecked him on the cheek. "Come on, we don't want to be late." I said while turning back to look at him. His face was as red as a chili pepper. I blushed. I made him that red. We then headed of rolling four big buckets full of 'Helping Hands'.

    We soon arrived and I was greeted by the gang. "Hey. Ember. How's it going." Said Fred. He called me Ember because of my hair and my suit. "I'm doing good." I replied to Fred. "Are you ready pipsqueak?" Asked Gogo. "Yup." I replied cautiously. "Well, Break a leg Kid." said Wasabi. "You'll do great Mira." Said Honey excitedly. I smiled at her. "Hey. Mira you'll do fine." Said Hiro with his goofy grin. I grinned a goofy grin and walked on to present my invention.
