Hope held josie in her arms, twirling her hair as she waited for her to wake up. Lizzie had went back into her dads office to tell her what had happened and give Hope some space alone with Jo.

Josie: *gasps* oH MY gosh.
She breathed heavily
Josie: What happened, is lizzie-?
Hope: Lizzie's fine baby. She had secretly drank blood by herself. She woke up and was the hero today.
Josie: I'm sure you helped.

Josie laid her hand on the side of Hopes face. Whipping a tear rolling down her eye.

Hope: All i was good for today was being weak. I couldn't take down kai.
Josie: Hey no no c'mon i'm sure you did something.
Hope: No. he was too strong. I couldn't do it. it's fine it doesn't matter. Lizzie killed him that's what matters.
Josie: Hope. You are quite literally the strongest person i know-

Hope rolled her eyes and turned her face from Josie but she faced her back toward her. They looked each other directly in the eyes, both blurry with tears.

Josie: Hey look at me. You are the strongest, and most badass women i know.

They both giggled.

Josie: And I will not let some stupid dick bring you down like this. Hope, you know you are strong. you are a fighter. And if you refuse to trust that now than you will train, and you will get even stronger. But just know i will love you no matter what. Because you mean-the world to me.
Hope: I love you too.

A deep voice began breathing heavily in some pain. Hope and Josie both looked back and it was none other than Kai freaking Parker waking up from his short slumber. The girls both rushed up from the ground in a panic.

Hope: What the hell?
Josie: I thought Lizzie killed him?
Kai: Oh she did, but i'm still bound to the prison world. You see when you're in there, alone, for years with a bunch of annoying children it gets so, so.... annoying. I can't tell you how annoying that was wow. Sorry anyways I made the superior suggestion to split up and find a way out. Thanks to your little friend Sebastian and linda's big mouth he told me all about malivore. So we just did a fun little portal jump out of that hell hole. That doesn't mean i'm not still bound to it though. So i can't die! Isn't it just so amazing the irony of tha-
Josie: IGNALUSA

Josie shot her hand out at kai and balls of fire began shooting towards him. But it wasn't working. The weapon Kai healed was called the Muraayad a spelled sword that acted like a mirror to bounce back any spells thrown at the carrier. The weapon was indestructible. One of the flames came out at Josie, she was able to get out of the way in time but her and hope both realized it would be impossible to win now.

Kai: You are not going to be able to defeat me girls. But. I won't kill you all, if you help me out.

Lizzie came running down the hall in fear from all the ruckus.

Lizzie: Whats going o- what the hell is he doing here I killed you?!
Kai: oh my goodness, Lana! You're late and i'm not explaining this again. Anyways, for me to not destroy this entire school, one of you three have to become a monster...like me.

The girls all looked at each other confused.

Kai: One of you has to team up with me, become the villain. Help me kill some of my very annoying enemies. It will be super duper fun! So who's it gonna be.
Hope: NO. No one is teaming up with you.

Kai vamp sped up to Josie and stuck his hand in her heart.

Kai: You have 10 seconds to pick or josie dies first.

Hope and Lizzie: I'll do it
Kai: 10...9...8
Hope: you are not doing this lizzie I need to do this for our school. You need your sister.
Kai: 7...6...5

Lizzie looked at hope and Josie in complete denial. She closed her eyes for a few seconds.

Hope: Lizzie what are you doing?
Kai: 4...3...2

When Lizzie opened her eyes her humanity was
off.

Lizzie: Sorry Hope, but it's my turn to be the marter. Take you're hand out of her right now.

Kai released Josies heart and she fell to the ground pleating for any air she could get and Hope went over and held her in her arms again.

Kai: I'll be honest I was hoping for the tribrid but, Lori will do I guess.
Lizzie: If you call me anything but lizzie one more time i'm going to call you Malachai

Kai grabbed lizzie arm and vamp sped them both away.
