As Hope and Hayley sat on the couch in the main Salvatore Boarding School room, the fire place crackled. It was a surprisingly peaceful night for what had just happened to Hope. Josie walked back into the room with three mugs of hot chocolate from the kitchen. When Hope saw this she stood up quickly.

Hope: Oh Jose let me take those from you.

She took two of the mugs from Josie's hand and handed one to Hayley.

Hayley nodded at Hope and thanked her. There was a moment of silence where everyone awkwardly starred at each other.

Hayley: So, I know you girls are just trying to make me feel comfortable but I am still, very confused.

Hope: Whats the last thing you remember?

Hayley started into space. Her eyes looked like they were about to start tearing up.

Hayley: Heat, fire. My flesh burning in a matter of seconds. Pride for saving my daughter from that, devil lady. And then nothing. Literally just nothing. And then boom, I'm awake.

Josie: Hope remember a few years ago when Lizzie and I had to siphon the power that was keeping our birth mother here so the necromancer wouldn't have control over her anymore?

Hope: Yeah why?

Josie: Well remember how that night you came into our room and comforted me and Lizzie. You told us about the time you believe you saw your mom at peace. In the woods, with the rest of your family. you said your mom told you to tell your uncle that she was waiting for another dance. Do you remember that?

Hope: Of course I remember that. But why-

Hayley began lightly groaning u daholding her hand to her head.

The two girls both rushed to make sure she was okay, examining her head.

Hayley: I'm fine I'm okay. Josie I think what you said triggered something. I remember telling hope that message for Elijah.

Hope excitedly: You do!?

Hayley grabber her head again, almost like she had a light headache.

Hayley: I remember. I remember collecting sticks in the woods for the campfire. I remember seeing you and running to hug you. I remember introducing you to Jack and my parents and the rest of our pack. I remember sending you back home. I remember watching you and the rest of the family have an amazing dinner together. I remember you painting a family picture of all us. I remember...I....I remember....

Hope: What?

Hayley: I remember watching you burying Elijah and Klaus's bodies at their funeral while we stood together. I remember watching you grow up, falling into a totally epic love with Josie. I remember.

Both girls let out a big sigh of relief and Hope gave her mother another hug.

Hayley: How long has it been since then? You don't look much different, except for your hair."

Hope chuckled: It's been 3 years

Hayley: Oh wow. Time at peace is none existent. It's so warm and peaceful.

Hope: You're not getting homesick right?

Hayley: Of course not sweetheart.

Hayley smiled with the most beautiful grin and gave her daughter another hug
