Hope and Josies pov

Hope was writing in her journal after showering and getting ready for bed. It had been a long and terrible day. All she wanted to do was lay in bed doing nothing for the next month. She heard a knock on the door and Josie bursted in.

Hope: Hey Jo
Josie: i have an idea.
Hope: What is that idea.
Josie: Let's go to the Mystic Grill. There's a band playing tonight it could be super fun. We can take our mind off of today before we have to set back into reality.
Hope: I'm not really feeling it tonight.
Josie: Nope it wasn't a question we're going
Hope: Jo
Josie: I'm picking you up at 8
Hope: Josie I ca-
Josie: Ah what was that I can't hear you!!

Josie walked backwards out of the room smiling at hope as she smiled back.

Hope put on a black leather jacket, a red top, and black leather pants with white healed boots. As she opened the door Josie was standing there against the wall, one leg up on it, wearing practically the same out fit as hope. She put her hand out-

Josie: Ma-Lady
Hope: What are you doing
Josie: Being you're date, duh.

Hope took Josies hand and they walked into town to the Grill.

As they walked in music was playing in by a band. The girls both noticed the lead seemed farmiliar.
Hope: Who is that?
Josie: I think it's-Stefanie Salvatore?
Hope: Oh my god it is! I had no idea she was in a band
Josie: Me neither

The song finished and Stefanie began talking to the crowd

Stefanie: This next song is for all the stupid douche bags who thought they could play with my heart.
Stefanie cuffed her hand to her mouth as if she was telling a secret.
Stefanie: You turned me into a lesbian! This is motherlove!

Hope and Josie both laughed at this statement.

Josie: Meeeeee

The girls giggled and started dancing together. This was the night they finally got to get away from all the terrible realities of Mystic falls. They had escaped for only a few years but some how they always seem to end up back at the start. Tonight was the night they got a distraction from all the shit they have to deal with every single day. They had escaped for a few years, but they some how always found their way back. Yes, they were both terrified with what Lizzie could be going through right now, but that was tomorrow's worry. Tonight was the night they got to drink and have fun, dance their hearts out, and sing until they lost their voices.

Hope: I'm really happy to be here with you right now.
Josie: I'm really happy to be with you right now too.

Hope kissed Josie and they danced again until the end of the song came.

Once the song ended everyone in the audience clapped including the girls. Hope looked and Josie and motioned for a hug.

Hope: Oh come here
Stefanie: This next song is called Girlfriend!
