You had me at the first glance.
The smile on your face,
Put me in a trance.
The ambition and excitement in your eyes,
As you paid no attention to those who pass by.
If I didn't know any better,
I'd have thought I was dreaming.
I know others would say "You had me at hello."
But the funny thing is we have yet to say hello.
You have me speechless,
If I were to even try to start a conversation.
I'd end up biting my tongue.
Trying to form the words I want to say.
But in the end it's not enough to make you stay.
