I was just temporary.
I came in as quietly as I went out.
Without a doubt,
Once I was in I prioritized you.
I was there to hold your head up high,
Would be there on the days you wanted to die.
Made you smile.
Made you laugh.
Helped you get on the right path.
Because I want you to succeed.
Always there when you were bored.
Even though I know if there was better I'd be ignored.
I'd love you infinity,
If you were really into me.
But I am not the one you want.
For I am just temporary.
My feelings for you were unnecessary.
I am not the thunder to your lightning.
I will not go out with a bang.
I will go out quietly just as I came in.
