The Orbs - Chapter 3: The Truth

"Luke, Scarlett what's goin on!?" I hear a rough voice say from behind me. I slowly turn and see my friend, Sam. I've known him for almost five years now. He has short and spiky black hair, slightly tanned skin and he was quite intelligent. He was very athletic and always arrived to his classes on time. "Did you guys hear about Lucy? Oh... Sorry, I forgot how close you two were." he says looking at me.
"No it's fine, I've got a plan," I say to them as we make a huddle, "Im going to get her out."I say to them as their eyes widen.
"NO, WE CANT LET YOU DO THAT!" they both yell as they start rambling on about why, but I wasn't listening.
"I've made up my mind, sorry. It's too late." I say as our bus pulls up and all three of us get on. I didn't get a seat so I stood the whole way which was really uncomfortable. We were driving along like usual, that was until a car swerved in front of us forcing the driver to put his foot on the brakes, hard. It was enough for me to go flying forwards, knocking me out for what felt like hours.

I was stuck in a dream state and i saw it, the giant hand. "Hello Luke, I've finally managed to communicate with you." It says as the first turns itno a person with a white aura flowing around him. "I'm here to teach you about your power, your friend that you call 'Lucy' has the same power but hers is different." He says as he takes a look around at this weird place.
"What do you mean? Im confused at the moment." I say trying to walk backwards.
"Okay. If you focus on your hand or a location, a small orb of power will appear. You can then set up the radius, how much it pulls and what it pulls. Its known as a warp device and if used correctly can help you teleport to locations. I can't speak any longer, test it out for yourself when you are alone." The man slowly begins to fade away until I opened my eyes again. I couldn't believe it. I was back in the bus but nothing had happened yet. When I opened my eyes, I was in the moment just before the bus swerved so I braced myself and fortunately didn't get knocked out this time. People started piling out of the bus and had to walk the rest of the way home.

When I finally arrived home I went straight upstairs to my room, I was home alone luckily. I put my hand around my right wrist and focus as much as possible. I felt a force, like a pulling force in the palm of my hands. A small orb appeared in the palm of my hand, it was a small grey and white orb fluxing with power. "What the heck?" I say to myself just staring at the orb, "Oh yeah, parameters. One $10 note, 100m radius pull!" I say as in a matter of seconds it appears in front of me. "This is Impossible."I say to myself as I grab the note and the orb disappears. I test my powers on numerous objects until I finally get the hang of it. "I wonder..." I say to myself. I focus my energy outside of my room and picture it, within seconds it appears in that location. "Pull." I say as I feel myself being pulled in an instant to the orb. I was fine and it had worked perfectly. "This could work." I say to myself as I get ready to save Lucy.
