The Orbs - Chapter 5: Lucy's Feelings

After wandering around the forest for what felt like hours i stumbled upon a small cave. I walk inside, tired and needing to sleep when i see someone, sleeping on the ground. I quickly use my ability to get a knife, "Don't bother Luke," i hear the soft voice say, "What? How do you know my name?" i quickly say stepping back, "Its me, Lucy," she say as she stands up, her face in the light. I fall to the ground, my legs weakened just from looking at her, "You're alive," i say supprised. "Wait, you've met White havent you?" i say staring her in the eyes, there was silence until, "Yes, he helped me escape," she says almost with a fake smile, "Watch," i say using my ability to pull some nearby leaves into my hand, "Thats pretty cool but just look at mine," she says as half of her body turns into liquid, flows around the cave and joins back forming into her body, "I can use water and make my body form into it in order to defeat anything," she slowly sits down, "But whats the point if im wanted by miltary and police everywhere, i just want to be free," she says as a single tear rolls down her face. I sit next to her and wipe the tear, "Don't worry, I'll always be here for you," i say as i feel her head rest on my shoulder.

It was relaxing, almost calming that was until they appeared. Cars, vans and soldiers all appear and trap us, "Shit!" i yell that was until i was knocked out by the fumes, filling the cave. I felt my entire body collapse and fall over. I slowly felt a jolt of electricity flow through my veins as my eyes jolted open, "Ahhh!" i manage to yell as i feel the pain surge. I was trapped in a cell, floating with rods stuck into my back jolting me with electricity every so often. I slowly look to my left and see Lucy hanging with the same set up as me. "I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE!" I yell as loud as possible still feeling numbed from the electricity. After what felt like an hour someone walked in front of my cell, "I am incharge and I was the one who helped catch you," I was silent still thinking about my next sentence, "I have a proposal for you," I say looking him dead in the eyes. He stares intently waiting, "If you let me and Lucy go we will help you catch criminals, we have the power and it's not like we're going to use our powers for evil, we might be the boost you need. We will only do this if you don't try to capture or imprison us," I look at Lucy who was forcing her eyes open, "How can I trust you?" He says almost testing us, "Well if you don't we can both escape in a matter of seconds, so it's your choice, waste your time chasing us or take the deal," I say feeling like I've won, "Ok escape then." A wide smile appears almost as if he won, "Fine," I say as I create the orb behind him and teleport both of us behind him. "Do I win yet?" I ask as he turns around with a look of pure horror, "How did you?" He asks trying to back away, "That is my power," I say as a massive smirk appears on my face, "Deal."

We both walk out with weapons we can use to aid the cops in capturing and we decide to go stay in a hotel room for awhile. I take a good look at the target, "His name is vampire, he has abilities like us but his are stronger more evil, he can kill just from looking at you," I take a look at the picture and study it. "Vampire huh," I say sitting down on the bed, "I think we both need to sleep," I say as I turn on the air conditioning and getting ready to sleep, "Yea, have a good sleep," she says as I feel myself slipping into oblivious grasp. It felt like a blink when I opened my eyes panting, sweat dripping from my forehead it was like hell, it was the thought of vampire and having to fight him it was flowing through my subconscious, "Luke are you ok?" I hear Lucy say from the bed on the other side of the room, "Yea it's just the thought of Vampire."
