There's a city in complete ruins, the population count is unknown but expected to be less than 100. Running footsteps could be heard, followed by a low humming sound. One silhouette was running as fast as they could while another was floating, trying to hunt down the other. The silhouette being chased threw down a smoke grenade, blinding the other one. The silhouette hid behind a building to catch his breath. It was Infinite, but not truly. He wore the same things that Gadget wears, glasses and all. "Ok I think that bought me some time." The jackal said to himself. He then got out what looked like a phantom ruby. "I set up the location that will hopefully give me some assistance. But this can't be miscalculated. If I choose incorrectly and I can't get help, then I'm as good as dead." He said shaking. "I need at least 15 to 30 seconds for the ruby to charge up or I won't have enough strength to get away fro-" Suddenly, the building behind him rose up. "Leaving so soon?" The silhouette said. The jackal gasped in shock and looked behind him. It was Gadget, but different. The left half of his head, left half of his torso, and everything below the waist was completely black. His left eye was completely yellow and so was the left half of his mouth. He looked like a monster. "Please work!" The jackal exclaimed to the ruby. "Crying for help won't save you now. Just be glad I'm letting the pain and suffering end quickly." The wolf said ready to attack. Before the wolf struck, the jackal disappeared, causing the villain to crash into the wall. "What the? Where did he go?" The wolf asked confused. "It's as if he was erased from existence, I can't locate him anywhere." The wolf realized. "That's impossible. Did that ruby send him somewhere else? He can't have escaped from me; I'll just have to figure out where that little runt went and make him suffer." He continued. The jackal opened his eyes. He was going through space at light speed. "It worked!" He said with relief. "OK Omniverse 054. I remember researching this place. It said to have been a regular universe but had multiple universes fused into one after some warriors took down a great evil." he said. He looked up and realized that he was at the right place. "Thank god. I'll be able to avenge everyone that perished because of him." He said. "But the ruby already took almost all of my strength just so I could configure the location... I can't focus enough to land safely..." He continued as he started losing consciousness. The jackal crashed into a grassy field at full force. The last thing he saw was 4 people walking towards him.
