Once Upon a Time...

There once was a beautiful maiden with hair black as night and skin pale as snow…but she doesn’t matter.

Actually, there was once an even more beautiful maiden with dirty blonde hair and blue/green eyes. Her name was Snow Punk, and she was the most punk in her kingdom. She was envied by all, but none envied her as much as her wicked step-father and King…Gerard Way.

King Gerard was pissed that he wasn’t the most punk in the land, and therefore grew to hate his step-daughter. He would look into his magic mirror everyday and ask the exact same question.

“Mirror, Mirror, on the stand who is the most punk-rock in the land?”

The mirror would answer the same way every time with a roll of her eyes.

“My King you are the fairest of them all, but it is not you that is the most punk-rock, not at all.”

He would grow angrier with each day that passed. He was the King; he should be the most punk-rock in the land! One day though, he decided to ask the magic mirror who exactly the most punk-rock person was.

“Mirror, Mirror, on the stand who is the most punk-rock in the land?”

The mirror rolled her eyes and answered in the same bored tone as she always did.

“My King you are the fairest of them all, but it is not you that is the most-punk rock, not at all.”

He grumbled to himself angrily before thinking of his question.

“Then who the fuck is it?” he asked.

The mirror thought for a moment before answering.

“There is a maiden with hair of gold and eyes of green, she is the most punk-rock and she is soon to be the Queen.”

An image of Snow Punk appeared on the mirror, showing her painting her nails black while Blink-182 played loudly in the background. King Gerard slammed his fist onto the table angrily, wondering how he could have been so stupid. How could he have not seen it before? Of course it was his step-daughter!

“How? How do I become the most punk-rock in the land?” he growled at the mirror.

“I don’t fucking know, would you get off of my case already?” the mirror snapped.

Gerard scowled and the mirror sighed boredly. He stormed out of the room, muttering to himself. He’d have to think of a plan to rid himself of Snow Punk…and quickly. Soon enough he would be the fairest and the most punk-rock in the land!

Snow Punk walked outside, popping her gum loudly. She was bored after sitting in her room for awhile, so she decided to take a walk outside. Maybe she’d meet that wolf again…he was pretty cool. Walking along the path in the woods, she hummed Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar We’re Going Down’ to herself. Her blonde hair whipped around her as the wind picked up suddenly. She heard something snap behind her and she spun around, looking for whatever was the source of the noise.

As expected, she saw a man following her. He had black hair and brown eyes, carrying a sack at his side. She wondered what it was for but didn’t question it.

“Hey, who’re you?” Snow Punk asked, popping her gum once again.

The man looked uncomfortable, shifting from foot to foot.
