James let out a frustrated sigh and ran a hand over his hair. Slightly tugging on his roots, he hissed and slammed his head against his desk."Uh..." Harry, who was with his father in his chambers, honestly didn't know how to react to James' actions. "You want some alone time?"
"If you don't mind." James said, his voice muffled because of the desk.
Harry nodded and slowly walked away, with a quick glance at James, Harry shut the door and ran up to the Common Room.
—
James let out another frustrated sigh before looking at the folded white piece of paper that laid on his desk.
He grabbed the paper and opened it to find messy handwriting as well as messy colors smeared over the paper.
'Fo uncle jam, frum liam end jay.'
James smiled softly at the twins' awful grammar and handwriting. They sure knew how to put a smile on someone's face. Looking at the image drawn, his smile grew. There was a whole bunch of stick figures with melon-sized heads. One that actually looked like a pineapple with a body was actually Sirius, and another that had a rather small head with an oval shape just below its stick-neck, did he realize it was Wanda.
According to Steve's written letter, it was "Wanda's breast-melons" as the twins liked to call them. James sure got a big laugh out of that.
James yawned as he stood up from his seat, but he didn't dare go to sleep. He went over towards his fireplace and grabbed a handful of floo powder. Stepping in, he mutter the small words quietly.
"Avengers Mansion."

The two super soldiers sat across from each other, a stack of cards in the middle of the table.
"I change the color to red." Bucky said as he dropped one of his many cards.
Steve grinned and dropped a red plus 2, "uno!"
Bucky glared at his friend and angrily grabbed two cards.
"All those cards and not a single plus 2? Pity." Steve said before grabbing a card from the deck.
"Only one card and it wasn't red?" Bucky mimicked. "Pity."
"Doesn't matter, really. I have two cards while you have half of the deck."
"Because you chea—"
The sound of the fireplace erupting in flames shut the two bickering soldiers up.
"Hey." James greeted as he walked past them.
Steve and Bucky watched as James walked over to the couch and plopped himself down, face buried in the cushion.
"Uh... James, buddy," Bucky spoke up. "You okay in there?"
All he got in return was a loud groan from the Potter.
"Okay then. You don't mind if we continue playing till you're done with your... whatever it is that you're doing, right?" Steve asked James, who in return shook his head.
"Cool, thanks."
The two continued playing for another three minutes before James sat up properly, his face looking grim.
"I came here for a very important and serious reason." said James, catching the attention of the soldiers once again.
"Your actions said otherwise—" Bucky answered before being kicked in the leg by Steve.
"What's going on?" Steve questioned.
"Where's the rest of the team?"
"Up in the bar."
"Except Bruce and Remus, they're in the lab." Bucky added.
"Kids sleeping?" asked James.
Steve nodded.
"Good. Team meeting in ten minutes. Gather the rest here."
In less than ten minutes everyone was already sitting down in front of James.
"So what are the important news?" Tony asked.
"Change of plans." was all James answered with.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I said there's a change of plans."
"Why?" Clint asked.
James sighed and ran a hand over his hair, "there's a tournament coming up."
"What's so bad about that?" it was Wanda's turn to ask a question.
"You don't understand. It's the Triwizard Tournament."
"No way!" Sirius exclaimed. "I thought those were discounted since I don't know 1790s?"
"They're starting it again, this year." said James.
"I still don't understand what's so bad about it." Wanda added.
"Why would a tournament be discounted?" Remus said. "Think about it. The Triwizard Tournament was discounted because of how dangerous it was. And with Voldemort on the loose—"
"It'll be more dangerous." Sirius added.
"We don't only have Voldemort on the loose. Orion will find out soon enough." Remus said.
"The only reason Dumbledore agreed to host the tournament was to use it as a distraction," James started. "Orion doesn't know Bucky told us everything and more especially, he doesn't know Bucky recovered his entire memory and that he's staying with us. At least, that's what Steve said."
Steve nodded, "we made sure everyone thinks he's in Wakanda still frozen."
"Good. Anyway, Orion would've tried to use the tournament as an advantage and think no one would be on watch but according to Fudge, Aurors would be surrounding the entire castle waiting for Orion." James finished explaining.
"That sounds like a good plan," said Natasha. "So why the change?"
James let out what seemed to be the hundredth sigh that day and leaned back, "someone wrote Harry's name on the Goblet of Fire."
Remus' and Sirius' eyes widened while the rest looked confused.
"What does that mean?" Vision and Tony asked.
"It means Harry has to participate."
