A Terrible Loss

Kaylee's  POV

It has been a couple days since I found out I was pregnant. My family extended there vacation another month. I woke up to my alarm for the last day of my sophomore year. I took a quick shower then did my hair and make up. As I was leaving the bathroom I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I was only 14 weeks pregnant so I know I wasn't going into labor. I managed to make it to my phone so I could call Devan.

He got here as fast as he could. "Kaylee?" he shouted. "I'm up here, owwwwww!" I cried out. He came running to my room to figure out what was happening. He looked me over and then realized there was blood on my legs. "We need to get you to a hospital now!" he said before picking me up and rushing me to the car. He put me in the passenger seat then ran to the driver seat. Once he was in he flipped the car into reverse and floored it.

We got to the hospital and he carried me inside. I was immediately take to a room and the doctors examined me. "I'm pregnant, and this hurts so bad," I told the doctor. The looked me over and everything before telling me, "I'm sorry but you've had a miscarriage," she said with sad eyes. I began to cry again but this time I cried harder than I ever have. Devan dropped to his knees and held my hand in his. "We can get through this beautiful,"he said while crying. After the doctors left I looked into Devans eyes, "At least I don't have to tell anyone now, but I would have gladly had your baby," I said before kissing him.

The next couple days were painful. I had to take medicine to get my body back to normal. I had to go to school in pain. Worse than all of that, I found out that Devan and Collins were moving to Florida. "I'll call you everyday beautiful I swear," Devan said rubbing my back. "I'd love to call and hear your voice to pretty eyes," Collins said also hugging me.

The day they moved was the hardest day yet. They came to say goodbye at around noon. I hugged Collins so tightly, "I'll miss you blue eyes," I said before kissing him on the cheek. When I hugged Devan I didn't want to let go, "I'll miss you beautiful, I won't forget you and I won't stop loving you," he said while crying on my shoulder. "I love you too Dev, I'll never forget you either. Please message me and call me everyday and Devan, I forgive you," I told him as I cried even more. When we finally separated, the boys got in the moving truck and I watched as it drove away. My family was coming home in a week and my best and only friends have just moved away, god my life sucked.

I hated going to school without Devan but I managed. Today was a particularly weird day. Colby was out sick and Sam wasn't talking to me. I got through my first 2 periods when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Sam. "Hey," I said to him. "Since your boy toy is gone, can I have that ass now?" he said suddenly smirking. "Honestly sure it might take my mind off things," I told him. He grabbed my hand and led me to the janitors closet behind the stairs.

"Why are we here Sam?" I asked him. He smiled before smashing his lips to mine. He was very rough and not gentle at all. I kissed back this time and I have to say I like him a lot but he isn't Devan. He pulled my skirt up and unzipped his pants. He pulled his dick out and pushed my underwear to the side. Before I knew it, he had rammed his dick inside me and was thrusting really hard. It actually hurt but felt good to. He was moaning in my ear "You have to pull out I told him as I moaned in his ear. Right before he reached his climax he pulled out. I fixed my underwear and pulled my skirt down.

"Damn, that was worth the wait," Sam said zipping his pants up. We left the janitors closet and went our separate ways. I went to the bathroom to clean up before class. The rest of the day went by fast. After school Devan called me, "Hey beautiful," he said into the phone. "Hey handsome," I said back. We talked for awhile before hanging up. There was no way I was telling Devan I slept with Sam. He'd never forgive me.  I went home and took a warm shower. Afterwards I went to the park and laid on the merry go round. All of a sudden I felt it start spinning slowly before someone jumped on. I felt someone lay next to me and grab my hand. "Hey beautiful," they said. My eyes snapped open and I looked beside me, no one was there.

This happened again the next day as well. I got freaked out and messaged Devan.

Me: hey, so I went to our spot the last couple days and each time I felt it move and someone laid next me and grabbed my hand, then I heard your voice say hey beautiful

Devan: that's weird I've been here lonely as ever, I miss you so much tho

Me: I miss you too Dev

I sat my phone down and went to sleep. I got woken up around 3 am to rocks hitting my window. I got up and looked but again no one was there. I got really scared so I hid in my closet until I fell asleep. I woke up to my alarm going off. I forgot to shut it off for the weekend. I got up to shut it off and saw that there was a dozen red roses sitting on my night stand. I went over to them and found a note that said :

Hey beautiful, I know I'm not there all the time anymore but I promise you I will be back there soon. I love you

I almost cried because it was such a sweet gesture. I took a selfie and sent it to him. I didn't know what was going on but I like Sam but I was slowly falling for Devans charm. I got dressed and went downstairs for some food. As soon as I got downstairs I heard some people yell Surprise!

I looked around and saw my family, Devan, and Collins in my living room. "What's going on?" I asked them. "Well we weren't here for your birthday so we're throwing you a late surprise party," mom told me. I hugged everyone. When I got to Devan I smashed my lips to his. When we separated I looked him in his eyes, "Please don't leave me again," I told him. He backed up before looking at me, "I'm not going anywhere beautiful. Collins and I have a surprise of our own for you," he told me. I smiled before being led outside with my eyes covered. "Ok open your eyes beautiful," Devan said. I opened my eyes to see a sign that read, we're moving back home. I'm not gonna lie I screamed with excitement before running into Devans arms.

My mom looked at me and smiled even bigger, "They're going to be staying with us dear. There parents asked if they could move in so they could come back home," she told me. I started crying from the happiness I felt. "Devan can I talk to you alone please?" I asked him. We walked down to the guest house before I spoke, "I need to tell you something but I don't want you to hate me ok?" I started, "I slept with Sam while you were away. It meant absolutely nothing because it made me realize that I'm in love with you and I want to be more than just your friend, Devan will you be my boyfriend?" I asked him. He looked hurt but he smiled anyways, "Of course I will be, but no more sleeping with other guys missy, you're all mine," he said before kissing me.

We went back up to the house for the party. We had a lot of fun and I got some awesome presents. I got some new make up, some super cute dresses, and I got 2 tickets to fly back home. "Devan, will you take the other ticket so you can see where I'm from?" I asked him. "I'd love to," he responded.

Life got better once Devan came back. We've been going strong ever since. Stacy had a little girl and Shay got with Collins. Coincidentally Devan and I are pregnant again and every one is happy for us. I can't wait to see what's in store for us in the future!
