The Night that Changed Everything

Kaylee's POV

I just got dressed for the party. I told Kelsey if she watched Bryce tonight that I'd watch him tomorrow and she could do whatever she wanted. I was wearing my favorite ripped jeans and t-shirt. I met Shay outside and we headed to her house for the party. At first it was me, her and Devan and then lots more people came. Eventually everyone was dancing and I was alone in a corner. Suddenly I felt someone wrap there arms around me, they were Devan's.

"What are you doing?" I asked him. He smirked as he pressed his lips to mine. I pushed him away, "Stop! You have a girlfriend and I won't be the side chick!" I accidentally screamed to loud. Thankfully no one heard me. I went to grab a drink. I looked up and locked eyes with a super cute guy with shaggy blonde hair, blue eyes, and a smile to die for. "Like what you see?" he said snapping me out of my trance. "Um, I'm sorry I didn't mean to stare at you, but your eyes are beautiful," I told him before walking away.

Devan's POV

I know it's wrong but I can't stop thinking about Kaylee. Don't get me wrong I love Shay. We have been together for 2 years now. When I'm with Kaylee I can't help myself. I have cheated once before but I regretted it. No I didn't have sex, but I did kiss another girl. I hate myself for hurting Shay but I would love to give my virginity to Kaylee.

Shay's POV

I'm having the time of my life at my own party when I notice that Devan is with Kaylee again. Ever since she got here all he wants to do is hang with her. I'm afraid I might be losing my man. Unlike most girls at school I'm not a virgin. I gave mine to some rando at another party.

Kaylee's POV

I had drank at least 4 drinks and was a little bit tipsy but not enough to call myself drunk. I went to sit down when I felt someone grab my arm and pull me into a room. "I know you liked what you saw," said a voice. "I'm not gonna hurt you I promise I just wanted to talk to you," he said turning on a light and I could see that it was the blonde guy with the pretty eyes and amazing smile. "What do you want to talk about?" I asked slightly frightened. "You and me," he replied. I sat down on the bed and tried to relax. "There is no "us" and besides you drug me in here," I told him. He stood in front of me and cupped my face in his hands. "What are you doing?" I asked him as I tried to push him away but failed.

He pressed his lips to mine forcefully. His lips moved against mine roughly before I finally got him off of me. "Look I don't know who you think you are, but you can't just kiss a girl," I told him. He smirked, "Honey I don't know where you came from, but here we do whatever we want to girls," he told me. "Not me you can't," I said as I shoved him out of my way. I left the room and went to find Shay. "Who's the guy with the blonde hair and blue eyes?" I asked her. "Oh that's Sam Golbach. I wouldn't take an interest in him he's a player," she told me as she went to find Devan.

I got another drink and started dancing. I was having fun when Devan came up behind me and grabbed my hips. I continued to dance with Devan behind me. All of a sudden out of nowhere someone yells, "You're such a tramp! She invites you to her party so you can make friends and instead you make a move on her man," while pointing at me. I was genuinely confused, "I'm not sure what you're talking about but we were just dancing," I said. "No I see you guys in the park every day after school on the merry go round laughing and playing 20 questions,"the girl said. Shay came out of the crowd of people, "Kaylee is this true?" she asked visibly saddened. I looked down at the ground before answering, "Yes ok we hang out at the park spinning round and round on the merry go round playing truth or dare or 20 questions. Yes we laugh because we're friends. I would never try to take your man Shay. I know what it feels like to have someone you trust try and take your man," I told her.
