You slip into class just on time and take your seat. Per usual, your new friend, Yoongi, wasn't there yet. About 10 minuets pass before he opens the doors and mindlessly slumps into his seat next to you. He looks like he rolled right out of bed in his black cap and oversized flannel, and to be honest, he probably did. You don't know much about him yet but you certainly know he's not a morning person... and this is a 7am class.

"Good morning sunshine." You flash him a big smile and he rolls his eyes.

"I will never understand where your energy comes from so early in the day." He says, his voice still raspy from sleep. He pulls out his book and a pencil and motions for you to move your arm off of your paper so he can copy down the first 10 minutes of notes he missed.

"Nuh uh, what's the magic word? We've practiced this come on." You cant help the amused smile on your face as his ears begin to turn red. He hates when you treat him like a toddler but he hates showing any sort of affection even more. You don't know why yet but every time you touch him, he either stiffens up or quickly moves away, even if it's just your elbows touching while you write. It's even hard to get him to say nice things... such as...

"Please..." He groans and you move your arm off of your paper. This is progress. You watch him fondly as he scribbles down your notes.

At the beginning of the year, you were assigned a paper but you had to write it with a partner. You didn't have any friends in the class, or any at all at back then, and you saw this confused boy looking as frantic as you when the news was dropped. Assuming he was in the same situation as you, you moved to him and asked to write the paper with him. He said he would, but he didn't seemed too thrilled. He was kind of cold towards you and you assumed that was just his personality. It got on your nerves a little bit but he did all of his work on time so you didn't care too much. Soon enough you'd be able to move back to your own seat and not have to deal with his crankiness. One night, you were typing away, trying to finish the last bit of the paper. Yoongi finished his part awhile ago and you needed to catch up. As you read his words, you were astonished that that rude, stand off-ish boy could come up with such beautiful words. From that point on, you became set on trying to open him up. You knew there were layers to him. No one can just write with that much emotion. After a week or so, he started warming up to you... kind of. Maybe he was just getting used to your positive energy.

"Fuck, do you have an extra pencil?" He says looking up at you from the broken lead in his hand. You chuckle and dig one out of your bag. "Thanks." He mutters and you smile.

After class, you try to catch up to Yoongi, who's already half way out the door.

"Hey," you gently grab ahold of his arm. He turns around and motioned down to where your hand was. You let go and apologize.

"What's up." He finally speaks as he continues to walk. The sun is now risen and it displays a beautiful pink gradient across the sky.

"Did you wanna grab some food? I know you didn't eat before coming to class." You say, following him.

"When did you get to know me so well?" He looks down at you.

"I know you better than you think." You narrow your eyes at him and he lets out a sleepy chuckle. You don't get many of those, but when you do your heart practically bursts with satisfaction.

"I could eat." He says. You both head to a small cafe next to your dorm and grab some coffee and breakfast burritos.

"Ahh look who we have here." Yoongi's friend ,Hoseok, approaches you two and daps Yoongi up.

"Hey man." Yoongi automatically lightens up at the sight of Hoseok. He radiates positive energy, it's still confusing how these two became friends.

"So... are you two dating yet?" Hoseok raises his eyebrows and Yoongi groans.
