You overwhelmed me with kindness,
We barely knew each other for 3 days
Yet I was already lost in your gaze.
If I had a dime for every time
I wanted to cry,
For a separation crime
You'd be a millionaire.
We are separated by 4,934 miles apart
But you set fireflies alight in my heart.
You tell me how beautiful I am
Stroke my hair and hold my hand
You never stop saying your sorry,
Even for the things you didn't do
You have all of me in your hand.
Holding me even if you never touch me
Loving me even though you've never seen me,
It's been 1 week and already I'm more alive.
2 weeks pass and you hold me in your grasp,
You make every minute last and god you know how to surprise and make me gasp!
You truly do inspire
I'll always admire.
3 weeks and now we're saying it's official
They've told us it's impossible,
And before long we'll be broken and gone
Because we're 4,934 miles apart!
Four weeks and we're going strong
