Hafwen stopped again. At the same time, she's starting to feel bad.It took her a few seconds to turn to face her and respond. "Okay fine.I'm just gonna take a walk around the nearest park here anyway.Doubt that you find that fun." She replied as she crosses her arms.
"Who said I didn’t?" She said. Furrowing her eyebrows "It’s what you make of it that it’ll lead to the fun part."
"Well iTs jUst- wAlkin--okay fine whatever, off we go." She said, walking off again, leading them to the park.
The silence was too awkward so Hafwen wanted to let something out. "The problem is..I might ruin your reputation like.Look at you being popular and shit.Your friends would totally be like 'Oh my god why are you hangout out with a weirdo and oh my god why them?'" She mockily said.
"Unlike then I’m not picky. I don’t think they’re my friends either. They probably just hang around me because my family’s wealthy and— they just want to get on my good side. It’s what I think. Nixon says otherwise but, eh. Also, the reputation part. I could care less. If I know I can be friends with people who aren’t flakes, then that’s all I want."she kicks a couple pebbles on the ground as a way to kind of keep on moving while spoke. With a hand in one of the pockets of her black jeans.
Hafwen felt relieved after that. She was wrong about not having a chance at all,Ignatia was right. She then thought of something "So everything started with the pen huh." She suddenly joked and sat on one of the benches at the park.
"Guess so. If I Wasn’t in need of a pen I guess we wouldn’t be here." She gives a small laugh after as a response"So, am I seen as the good guy now? No more 'Just that one popular gal'?"
Hafwen shrugged and laughed a bit. "Yeahh I guess. You're still popular after all." She said "Did Ignatia told her where I was?"
"Yeah, she did. I would have asked where you were anyway. Because I didn’t wanna leave off our encounter like that. Would’ve bothered me." Lectrix replied.
'Oh my god,Ignatia you never give up do ya.' She thought to herself and nodded "Pfft well thank her instead." She spoke out. After awhile it was just an awkward silence, just winds blowing and the rustling of leaves can be heard.Hafwen as an introvert.Doesn't know how to start a conversation at all.
"When you first saw me. How did you genuinely think of me? And be honest. Please." She said, as she turned to look at Hafwen and stopping in her tracks.
Hafwen flinched at the sudden question. She hesitated at first but she knew she can trust her now her feelings have changed anyway so she felt confident on telling her. "When I first saw you,I wanted to interact with you so bad but your 'friends' would be in the way and my ass doesn't even know how to start off a good impression actually.Out of nowhere...I realized I had feelings for you that time but not for long so I moved on and go on with my day playing dnd with my friends.Soo..Yeah." She explained, she didn't felt anything after this confession or even her feelings for her.She felt nothing at all.
"That’s— wow. So you liked me? Not that I mind. But the fact that you moved on because of people that were surrounded by me and a little doubt? Kinda hit too much to home there. I know if I liked someone I would get out of my way to talk to them, despite the people they’re around with. You’re only ever there for one person sometimes, am I right? But not everyone functions the same with that mentality. Anyway.. sorry your feelings kind of drifting off into some other reality." Lectrix felt completely guilty. All worthy of the blame. This is what she meant by what she said earlier. A stupid stereotype. She wish she could tell people she isn’t how people perceive her at most situations— but she can’t just do that without sounding a little too weird and paranoid.
(Oh hai i just finished taking a shower lmao)
She shrugged "It's alright. No big deal actually.I didn't even know you that much so those are just random feelings. You're beautiful yeah no doubt." She spoke out without a problem,She's glad she's her friend now.Or would their friendship last longer?
_Lectrix naturally doesn’t know how to take compliments. So she turned red just by a bit as she rubbed the back of her neck, followed by a smile of hers while offering a small laugh after that reaction "Crap— compliment right off the bat? Unexpected, but thanks. I act awkward when I get complimented because I’m just- like that?" She says, after finally sitting on the bench.
Hafwen didn't expect this reaction but laughed as well anyway. "Sorry bout that but you're welcome." She softly smiled before taking out her earphones and wearing them. This made Hafwen felt less awkward because the silence does make it awkward.
The two became extremely close and continued talking while sitting on the bench.
Would Hafwen's past feelings will come back since she started talking to Lectrix? Will Lectrix start to develop feelings for a edgy teen even though it would ruin her reputation?
