Natalie's pov
After the whole Aubrey being jealous situation, me and Mateo lay on the modern chair chilling. I twirl my fingers into Mateo's curly hair. I unwrapped his hair from my finger making it return to its original shape.
I glanced back at Aubrey and then back at Mateo, out of nowhere,
" Hey... Natalie what have you been doing for the last two years?" I heard Aubrey say, I felt my body go stiff and stared directly at Mateo.
I gulped," Well you know I had Mateo... the pregnancy was hard, being all by myself. I had myself and my mind and it got pretty tough you know. It really sucked, like really really sucked, being all alone, miserable. I got through it for Mateo and got my act together. I ended up going into the music industry but every time something good happens something bad happens. You came back into my life... I dont know if it's a good or bad thing. Every time I look at Mateo I just envision you and it hurts to see the one you love in front of you every day. I wanted to have an abortion... I couldn't take it but I came around and my beautiful baby boy was born. But at times love is the reason why there's so much pain." I didn't noticed until I finished that there was tears pouring down my face. I looked down and saw Mateo looking at me confused. I just smiled at him and touched his cheek
" I'm sorry Nat... I'm sorry I put you through all that pain, I'm an idiot if I only I said something.... our relationship could've went so much different. I miss you so much that it hurts... tell me you love me. Love me again. Please." Aubrey abruptly stood up from his desk making his way to me. He grasped me and Mateo's hand in his big hands.
" I love both of you with all my heart. I might have only met Mateo but i knew from the first time i met him i loved him. I am always going to love you and will never let go. We always come running back to each. Right? This time it just took longer." He immediately let go of my hands and started to pull on his hair. I put Mateo down on the coach and started to walk towards Aubrey slowly,
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" He shouted pulling out a gun on me. I came to a sudden halt stopping on my tracks. It wasn't the first time I've seen a gun on Aubrey's possession. I continued walking towards him and touched the gun with his hands. I noticed his hands were shaking tremendously, I wrapped my arms around Aubrey's chest and rubbed his back.
" You caused me all this pain Natalie. You.Did." I felt my top start to wetten and saw Aubrey was crying on my shoulders
" It's fine. Okay. Calm down baby..." I calmed him down drawing shapes on his back.
We stayed on each other arms in silence for a while until I heard Mateo called my name,
" Mama,Dada" ( fr I dont remember if Mateo's walked or not, I've actually forgotten)
I saw Mateo walk towards us trembling little with a smile on his face.
" Come on baby your doing it!" I reached out my arms for Mateo to fall in my arms. I picked Mateo up and he hugged Aubrey causing Aubrey to chuckle in response.
" I love you guys, you better know that, I'll do anything to keep you guys safe."
