I opened my eyes only to see bright flashing lights again and a ringing noise that is now familiar to me, i noticed a familiar figure in front of me, small yet brown eager eyes looking down at me. I felt a wet substance on what to be a hospital gown. It started to get progressively bigger by the second. I started to hear a cry that i was extremely familiar,
"Mama"
I raised my head quickly and bumped into the small figure above me. I groaned at the sudden impact and now glanced at the figure.
"Mateo..."I saw tears wield up in his eyes, i quickly grabbed his body and hugged his body lifeless. I missed his cry's even though that sounds bad, i miss everything about him.I cried into his small body that i quickly took comfort in. I checked his body all over to see if there was any cuts or bruises, only to see none. I sighed in relief seeing no harm was done to him. I wiped the tears from his eyes only to see him smiling at him.
The door creaked opened and saw Aubrey walk in, i pushed Mateo up against my chest securing him into my arms.
"Nothing happened to him, you don't have to worry about him."
I gave him no reply and held Mateo closer to my chest.
"He missed you a lot you know, i did too..."
I looked around the room to see men in every corner with a gun in their waist band. I glanced back at Aubrey only for him to see my uncomfortable manor. His hand went up in a leaving manor and they all left the room under his command.
"Where am i?"
"New York"He said surprisingly too calmly. I look out the window and saw a flat landscape with a few trees.
"New York since when?"
He let out a chuckle and strolled over to my bed and sat down on my bed, my body tensed at our closeness.My eyes wandered to nearest door and thought of a plan to escape the current room with Mateo in my arms safely.Aubrey's eyes drifted with mine and saw where i was looking, i saw a smirk form on him face,
" If you even thinking about leaving, there's guard's blocking every single entrance in this place that knows your face and profile. So don't even think about it."
My eyes drifted to the window to see that we probably on the highest floor, i sighed at the thought of no escape and sunk into the bed. Mateo rested his head into my breast while touching it, i felt Aubrey glare at Mateo at his action,
"Perv..."I heard him mummer under his breath. I rolled my eyes at his stupid behavior .We stayed in silence until Aubrey said something,
"What happened to you Nat...i saw the mar-"Before he could finish his question, i interrupted him,
" I don't want to talk about it..." I got off the comfy hospital bed and reached for the table and stood up abruptly, i felt all the pain rush to my head, i gripped my head in agony. I felt Aubrey grab my forearm and push me back into the bed.
"You need to rest, your not feeling well at the moment." My body eased into the bed , resting back into the plush white bed. I looked down at my attire, seeing a hospital gown, my cheeks went red realizing what had happened.
"Did you change me?"
i saw a smirk form of Aubrey's smooth complexion, I thew the closest thing to me at Aubrey's head.He caught it in his hands immediately and jokingly threw it back at me.
"DO YOU WANT TO KILL ME, WHY ARE YOU THROWING THAT AT ME?YOU RODENT"
I heard Aubrey chuckle a little and saw him get off my bed,
"I have a situation to deal with ill be back soon..." I came over a kissed my cheek making me blush as a result. I mumbled under my breath "Bye", he rolled his yes playfully at me and left the room.
Aubrey's pov
As soon as i left the room, i turned into another person, a person i wouldn't like to show Natalie. I walked down to the basement to see Nicholas waiting for me by the door. He gave me a little nod,
"Boss he's in there"
My smile that was once little had now turned into a grin, i opened the door only to see the man who ruffed Natalie a bit too much.
"Didn't I say bring her back in once piece and not harmed!" I kicked his stomach making him groan, i picked up a knife from the table and slit his thorax, making him scream. I laughed at him and continued to cut him to the point he looked like a different man. I looked down at my masterpiece,
"Finish him off i don't want Natalie to see blood on my clothes"
I left the room happy with my achievements, i'll do anything to keep her safe.
