I woke up at 5 a.m. She was sleeping so peacefully that I tried not to make noise so that she would not wake up. Before leaving her house, I took her cell phone, opened the notepad and left her a message:

"I loved sleeping with you. Call me as soon as you see the message. "

I went home, took a shower, changed clothes, it was already 7 a.m. when my phone rang:

"Hello?"

"Did I wake you up, Dylan?"

"No. I've been awake for some time."

"I tried to talk to you yesterday, but I couldn't."

"I didn't sleep at home."

"How are you? We haven't spoken in a while."

"I'm fine. I met a person. We are meeting."

"Do I know her?"

"You don't, but your wife does. She is the school's new French teacher.

"I've heard a lot about her. Lillian really likes her work, and so does she."

"She is amazing."

"We're going to set dinner all of us together these days. I just called to see how you were doing."

"We talk later."

Since my parents died, Vincent and Lillian have always been around if I needed to. They always cared about me. They wanted me to move in with them, but because of college and everything that happened, I decided to come here. They moved two years ago, we do not see each other very often, but we speak by phone or messages.

The phone rang again, and this time it was Amanda:

"Good morning!"

"Good morning!"

"I'll pick you up at the school exit."

"Not today."

"Why not?"

"Today is Thursday, I'll only have classes until the first break. I come straight home and prepare lunch for us. What do you think?"

"I think it's wonderful. Won't you need help?"

"No, don't worry. Everything will be under control."

"Then I'll take the dessert."

"You don't have to, either. And one more thing: will you sleep with me again today?"

I chuckled, and then asked:

"Don't you have to wake up early tomorrow?"

"No, I don't have classes on Fridays."

"Deal. See you later."

"See you later."

We hang up the phone. I went to the kitchen to eat something. Then I went up to my room and packed a small suitcase: I was not going to be with her just that night, I was going to stay all weekend.

I showered, got dressed, got my things and went to school. The day was so beautiful, a typical summer day: blue skies and warm sunshine. I arrived at the school and went to the teachers' room to get the room key. I went up to the classroom and started to arrange the material I was going to use; I suddenly felt that someone was hugging me, I turned around thinking it was Dylan making me a surprise:

"How are you? I missed you."

"Let go of me, Ethan."

He released me, and sat in my chair:

"Why are you treating me like this? Until last week, I was the only person you knew in this city. I thought we were friends."

"Ethan, you need to understand that ..."

"Understand what? That I'm your student, and what student-teacher relationship is unethical? That I'm younger than you? Yes, I'm younger than you. How long? Two years Three years?"

"Ethan, my 'friendship' with students is exactly student-teacher. And nothing more than that. I apologize for making you believe that we could be friends. We went out two or three times because you insisted, you insisted so much that I ended up going to your house to meet your mother. "

"This is all because of that guy, isn't it?"

"No, nothing is because of him. Everything is because of me. Now, go and sit in your seat, the class will start in five minutes."

He still looked like he wanted to say something, but I turned my back on him, and finished tidying up the room while the other students were arriving. The class went as planned. I dismissed the students, but Ethan stayed in the room:

"Can we talk?"

"Ethan, we already talked."

"I want to apologize to you."

"Okay, Ethan."

"Can we go to the coffee shop and talk better?"

"It won't work. Let it for another day. I have to go now. Ciao."

Ethan went after me, I locked the door, returned the key to the teachers' room, said goodbye to the other teachers and left. I had to stop by the supermarket to buy some things for lunch today.
