Log 1: So for some reason a beast had an insane amount of concentrated materials in it. Let's see if it was unique.
Beast 1: Really furry. Took a while to find actual body.
It tasted liked burnt prawns.
Result: Lots of concentrated materials
Beast 2: This one has wings and was harder to catch.
Its meat was quite sweet.
Result: Lots of concentrated materials
Beast 3: Tiny thing that was trying to steal my food.
Tastes like beef. Best so far.
Result: Lots of concentrated materials (a little less though)
Conclusion: They all have lots of concentrated materials

Log 2: How can I tell if the plants around me are edible? After a bit of thought I don't actually have to test them. I'll just make a beast do it.
Finding the right beast - It needs to have a similar stomach. I'll need multiple too.
Have decided that anything that bleeds will do.
Finally found one. It looks like a polar bear with floppy ears. I named this species clotters.
My clotter is in a cage I made by fusing sticks together. I'll need more later in case this one dies.

Log 3: What do the plants around me do anyway? If I use weak plants for important things they'll break. Guess it's the rock Olympics pt. 2
Plant 1: Weird blue thing - very bendy
I call it the sling plant
Plant 2: Red and spiky
Causes minor rashes - avoid at all costs
I call it the pepper plant
Plant 3: Very strong and sturdy - roots from a massive plant that I can't find the source of
I call them lifesavers
Conclusion: I am bad at naming things
