Bogum's Father

Irene's POV

It's been three days and the bear isn't waking up yet. I'm so glad that her wound wasn't fatal and that she's stable and okay now. I was sitting next to her bed waiting for her to open her eyes cause the doctor said that she'll wake up anytime soon. I held her hand and said.

"I'm so glad that you're alive Seul. I wouldn't know what I would do if something happens to you. I'm so dumb that I didn't tell you right away that I wanted to give our relationship another chance." I can't help but cry. "Please open your eyes now Seul. I miss you so much and I love you."

"I love you more Baechu." Then she squeezed my hand. Oh my God,.. She opened her eyes and smiled at me. Thank you Lord for this. Gosh, I'm so happy.

I immediately hugged and kissed her lips. "You dumb bear, why would you risk your life like that?"

"You're the dumb one Irene. Of course, I would always risk my life just to protect my wife and daughter."

"Yah, I'm not even your wife!" I hit her arm, blushing so hard at the same time."

Then she started laughing when someone just came in.

"Ahjussi?" I whispered.

I looked at Seulgi and uncle as they looked at each other intently.

"Ahjussi, I don't think it's the right time to be here." I said.

"You're right Irene." Then she looked at Seulgi and smiled. "I'm so glad that your okay now my princess. I'm just going to change this flowers." Then he walked where the old flowers were and changed it. Honestly, he always visit Seulgi like every single day and bring this flowers. I looked at Seulgi and she was just staring at him and then when uncle was about to leave, she said.

"Thank you appa."

Uncle stopped at opening the door knob, stayed still for seconds and then looked at her. I swear my heart was so touched when I saw him crying. Like shit, what kind of K-drama am I watching right now?

"Did you just call me appa?" And then the door opened again and guess what. Yeri, Seulgi's younger sister just came in.

"Oh I'm so sorry ahjussi but you shouldn't be standing by the door."

"It's okay." Uncle said while staring at her. Now that I looked at them, Yeri looked like Ahjussi but Seulgi's face was so different from them. I wondered why but Seul really looks like her mom so maybe she just got everything from her mom.

Then Yeri immediately ran and hugged Seulgi.

"Oh my God Seulgi-unnie, I can't believe that you're in a hospital again. The medical institution that manages your medical expenses will be bankrupt already."

I chuckled at her comment.

"Yah, why are you here?" she dumbly asked.

"Oh holy mother of God, really unnie? Asking me why I'm here. Maybe I will get married here."

"What? you're getting married?" Then Yeri facepalmed herself. "Okay Irene-unnie. I'm done. I don't know how you're putting up with her dumbness."

"Yah Yeri. I'm still older than you. Pay at least some respect and besides we haven't seen each other for so long."

"We'll it's because you choose to not show yourself to me. I'm just glad that Irene-unnie contacted me and viola I'm here. But seriously unnie, I'm glad that you're okay now. You don't know how worried I am when I heard what happened. I swear I'm going to kill that Park Bogum."

"I'm sorry for making you worry Yeri. I'm such a terrible sister."

"Yes you are terrible, the worst unnie ever."

Then Seulgi lowered down her head.

"I'm kidding unnie. I understand everything and hello you never fail to give me my allowance and because of that I was able buy all my luxury." She laughed but not Seulgi and when she noticed her sad face, she sat down beside her and held her hand.

"Seulgi-unnie, seriously you want me to do this?"

Seulgi looked at her in the verge of crying.

"Aissst, alright. Unnie you're the best sister in the whole world. It's true that you have messed up but because you had your downfall. But with all honesty, you have never failed me. Remember that when appa left us, you're the one that supported our family. I've witnessed how you strived hard just to provide all the things that appa would have done for us. Even when eomma passed away, you still supported me. I have finished my study and had a good job. If it weren't for you unnie, I will be nothing. So don't be too hard on yourself. Thank you and I love you so much unnie."

And then that's it. Seulgi cried so hard.

And then I saw ahjussi crying so hard as well. He was crying so hard that Yeri noticed him.

"Ahjussi, are you okay?"

"Yeri, Seulgi.. I'm so so sorry. You guys have suffered a lot because of me."

"Huh?" Then she looked at Seulgi confusedly. "Who is he unnie?"

"Yeri, he.. he's our..."

"I'm your father Yeri." Then her eyes widen. "Are you kidding me? Is this some kind of a joke?" Then she looked at Seulgi again.

"Unnie??"

"He's telling the truth Yeri. He's our father."

"Then why is he here?" Then Yeri looked at ahjussi. "You have the freaking nerve to be here after all the things you have done."

"I'm so sorry Yeri. But please give me another chance to be a father to you and Seulgi."

Yeri was about to say something when the door opened again.

Oh my freaking Lord, why is everybody coming in today? My poor bear, she just woke up and all this shit is happenning.

An old familiar guy came and why does he reminds me of my Seulgi. His facial feature was exactly as Seulgi. I wondered why.

"Good afternoon. I'm Park Bogum's dad and I'm here to ask --------" He wasn't able to continue his sentence as uncle cut off him off.

What the hell, so that's why he looked so familiar. I have seen him before but I just can't pin point where.

"David Park?" Ahjussi surprisingly asked.

"Mattew Kang?" He replied with the same schocked face.

"Appa? Do you know him?" Then both of them looked at Seulgi at the same time.

"Don't tell me, she's -------" Bogum's dad said while looking at her.

"Yes she's your daughter."

Yeri : ( *ﾟﾛﾟ)  ....... ?

"What the hell are you saying appa?" Seulgi annoyingly said.
