Hernando's POV

I couldn't focus.

I stood over Johnathon's lifeless body and all I could think of was torturing that little girl. What kept me puzzled is that I couldn't for the life of me figure out why? She didn't really offend me that day, in fact she was the only amusing part.

Maybe that's it. She managed to make you amused in just two encounters than others had in a lifetime.

Dropping the saw, I pulled my kerchief and wiped the blood from my face. I never really enjoyed killing, it was more of a duty than job. I didn't do it because I needed to, I did it because I was expected to. Afterall, being the last male of my papa's blood, it was my only option.

"If only you hadn't crossed papa John" I breathe out.

Johnathon Rhodes. 36 of Westchester California. Father to Heather 19, and Sandy 17. His wife Janice had begged him over and over to quit the Mafia and move far away from the life he knew. Now here he lies, so tot wie ein Hund(as dead as a dog)!

I could bet my life that Papa will go after his elder daughter to work of the damaged he caused and even then she still wouldn't be free.

When I entered the restroom, remnants of the broken mirror laid all over the floor and I lost it.

"Is it just me or have you fucking idiots forgotten who I am?" the factory went silent.

"I say bring me the girl yet I get 2 girls! I say make sure no harm comes to her yet I had to give her 13 stitches! 13! I say remove all fucking mirrors from my sight" I turned around and grabbed a hand full of the shattered glass "So you break the glass and leave it scattered on the fucking floor!" Then I threw it in their direction and they all shuffled back.

By now my hand was dripping with blood but I didn't really care, when I give an order I expect it to be done and done well.

In and out Nando, breathe! In 123 Out 123

And I did. I wiped my hand over my face in attempt to calm myself, and the pieces of splinter went further down in my palm. i winced. Between my blood and Johnathon's, I was a walking paint brush, leaving a trail of red as I left.

The drive back to the House-K was peaceful to say the least. In my head, I had thought up a dozen things to threaten my little captive with today and I was absolutely sure they would bring me great results. My only decision now was whether to wash up or let her see me like this.

On one hand, that would mean extra work for Madley to clean up, while on the other, I could tell her that hacking her friend to pieces had been a task but I managed it quite well, if I do say so myself. Haha. I couldn't help but laugh! Imagine how those big brown eyes would bulge while the pigment drained from her skin. Good Times!

I couldn't wait to get inside. By now, I guess she'd be wrapped up in a corner, balling her eyes out or fast asleep in bed once she realized that there was no way of escaping that room.

I slowed the car to a stop. There she was, just sitting on the porch. How tha—and there came Nanda—handing here a mug then she sat on the opposite side of the front door and sipping from her own. Unable to move my eyes I removed the key and just sat there staring at my 'captive' laughing with my sister over a cup of tea!

So much for balled up in a corner crying her eyes out!

As if sensing my presence, Nanda looked over the lawn to my car and started waving while Dee, Dee was smiling like hell.

This my boy should be rather interesting, my inner voice chirped again.

Interesting indeed! And my option became clear, dead friend it is!
