"Indomitable" A RWBY FanFiction

Pure Apathy

As my eyes slowly open i feel the sharp cold of the air hitting my face, barley being able to keep my eyes open I force myself to sit up. I feel drained, i slept a good ten hours but it feels like I didn't get a wink of sleep.

I look around to see everyone else still in bed, the light snore of Yang reminds me where i am. This old abandon house in the middle of no where. I get up and put the covers back on yang yo keep her warm. Throwing my gear on I walk over to the fire place and throw some nearby wood on it, scraping two fire cyrstals together i reignite the fire, walking past the drunk Qrow who said he would keep watch, I go and find a coffee pot to see if that will wake me up, I pour some coffee Mix I got from the train pouring in some water from my canteen and set it buy the fire,

(Yang) "your up early"

(Y:n) "its noon"

(Yang) "wait really?"

I thought she would be more shocked but her face just goes to a dule stare, shes just as tired as me,

After that one by one everyone else wakes up, feeling just as tired. The black coffee does little but enough to get everyone in gear to head out later to day to Argus.

As i pack up and help Yang tune up bumblebee i notice everyone moving slow like zombies, Ruby is the only one acting semi normal.

(Yang) "hey can you hand my that wrech, its on that bag on the side of bumblebee"

I walk over and grab it and toss it to her

(Y:n) "need me for anything else?"

(Yang) "nope just finishing here then we can head out out"

(Y:n) "ok I'm gonna go practice so if you here shots its me"

(Yang) "ok"

I walk over and wait for a kiss, but nothing comes, i look down to see Yang staring at the ground,

(Y:n) " hey you alright?"

(Yang) "oh yeah....sorry im just, tired"

She gets up and ebraces me and gives me a kiss,

(Yang) " dont shoot yourself"

(Y:n) "ill try"

I walk behind the house and into the back yard, it conects to a tree line that looks like it goes on for miles, in a old trash can i find myself some bottles. I line them up on the fence post. walking back twords the house i draw Hikari.

Pulling the lever back i line up the first bottle, firing i blow it away with glass shards falling to the ground, relizing i could hit a shot like in my sleep i walk a little closer and put hikari to my side, quick drawing i fan the hammer with my other hand hitting two out of three bottles i aimed for,

(Y:n) "not bad"

Reloading, i ready my self again, but this time i aim for the one i missed, drawing i shoot the bottom of the bottle, as it explodes the top part shoots into the air when i blast that one mid-air.

Looking over to my right next to an old horse barn i see a very sad scare crow with snow covering him, looking at my arm i see Ember Celica.

(Y:n) "always wanted to try this"

Extending Ember Celica I shoot behind me, launching me into the air. I try to pull out whirlwind mid air but before i knew it i passed the scarecrow and faceplant into the cold snow,

Shaking off my cold awakening I gigle at myself. As i swipe away the snow covering my chest and back i can't help but feel like someone is watching me, something dark, turning around there stand the dark figure i saw in the train, his cloths coverd in blood and his tail limp on the ground.
