Face off

Thunder strikes again, the rain falls all around, with a light breeze I start to get chilled, looking down at the pavement I hear Weiss start to sing. This snaps be back to reality.

Looking up across the way I see dozens people all lined up parallel to me, looking back towards haven I see Xanders coffin being carried out. He's being carried by fuanus from kuo kawana, Blake's home. In the back of my mind I can hear Weiss sing "the wayfarer stranger" this being mostly tuned out by the light rain and my emotions.

All my comrades surround me Ven,Noir team RWBY and JNPR, Ozpin stands next to me holding his cane out in front of him bowing his head. Yang is holding my hand as hard as she can squeeze, trying not to cry. Before I could even realize his coffin is right before me, not two feet away, his holders look towards me. Looking down to my free hand I see Sasori his weapon, Noir fixed it up for the funeral.

As they gently set him down in front of me on a pedestal they slowly open it. Already covered in roses I can see him, he looks like he's quietly sleeping in it, just like when I'd wake up before school I'd see him like this, still dressed In his combat uniform, me, Noir and Ven walk over to him slightly stepping out of line. I can hear Ven and Noir snap to attention saluting their fallen brother in arms. I gently set Sasori on his chest and wrap is hands around it. Taking a step back I pull my hand to my head to say a final goodbye to Xander Frost, my brother...

After it's all said and done I find myself alone, looking out my room window, staring at the rain as it pings onto the window and slowly dripping down.

I hear the door behind me open.

(Blake) "Y:n"

I turn around just in time to be hugged I can feel her crying on my shoulder. I slowly pet down her hair and down her back to calm her

(Blake) "I-im so sorry I-I tried to stop him and-"

(Y:n) "it's alright Blake...you did all you could"

(Blake) "I should have gone with him, I could have ended it with him and put a stop to Adam"

(Y:n) "if you did there would have been two coffins out there today"

She takes a step back from me and whipes her tears away.

(Blake) "what are you gonna do if you meet Adam again?"

I turn back around and look out the window to see the airship carrying Xander take off back to Kuo kawana.

(Y:n) "not if Blake...when"

Turning back I look Blake in the eyes.

(Y:n) "and when I do meet Adam again...I'm gonna finish what he started."

(Adam) "you dont seem to stay dead do you Y:n?"

(Y:n) " what can I say, I'm persistent, but not as persistent as you Adam"

(Adam) "Both Blake and Xander threw me away like garbage...worse than any torture from a human like yourself"

Standing up he sheaths his sword and begins walking to my left slowly so I start walking away to my right at the same pace

(Y:n) "they left you because you changed Adam. At first you faught for justice and peace and now what?...to kill every human or enslave the rest?"

(Adam) "you dont know what it's like to be treated like an animal, to feel like I'm being hunted every second of my life!"

(Y:n) " what you're doing makes you no better than the people who did that to you"

(Adam) "to beat your enemy you must become them..."

God I hate it when he monologues like that...

(Adam) "you know Y:n, when I found out you where alive I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Xander charged into that forest trying to avenge you...but here you are up right and breathing. It must really suck to die in vein like that."

I can feel my hands clench. My anger begins to boil over.

(Y:n) "one chance..."

I hold up my finger to the sky and look at him

(Adam) "what?"

(Y:n) " I am giving you one last chance to walk away Adam, leave me, Blake and Yang...alone, and you have my word I will never come looking for you"

(Adam) "Really?...after destroying you're life, attacking you're school and almost killing you you're asking me to leave this all behind me?"

(Y:n) " I'm giving you this chance to honor Xander,"

(Adam) "I can forget all about you Y:n after all I have respect for you....but I'd have to decline because right now I'm going to kill you...and her"

He points over to Yang who's standing guard by a hurt Blake.

(Adam) "and I'm gonna take back what's mine"

I look over to Blake who's filled with anger and a will to fight.

(Y:n) "I was hopeing you'd say that...."

==========Blake==========

It started with a fury of blows, their swords slam togather almost in unison. Once you think one has the upper hand it changes direction into the others.

Y:n jumps back and fan-hammers his pistol at Adam, which he promptly deflects charging his semblance. I try to get up and help but I feel a hand stop me from getting up.

(Yang) "re-charge your aura, we can hold him off"

She blasts forward with her gauntlets and fired at Adam, by catching him off guard Y:n slices him twice damaging his aura. He try's to respond with a overhead attack but is stopped, Adam looks back to see that his hand is caught in a glyph, he try's to pull out but to no avail. Y:n and yang both walk over to him and look at each other, with a nod they both raise their Ember celica and slam them both into Adam's chest, throwing him back aways he lands on his feet,

(Adam) "you know Y:n, you really are starting to piss me off"

(Y:n) "what can I say, i have that effect on people"

Adam sheaths his sword and fires it at Yang, hitting her falls to the ground and his sword flys back to his hand, as he sprints towards her, Y:n runs to intercept him, but is out manvuerd and kicked away and sores twords the edge of the land bridge he pulls out both of his swords and stabs into the ground catching himself halfway fallen off.

Looking behind me I see my gymbol shourd, I start to crawl over to it, at that moment a bullet lands next to me,

(Adam) " ah ah, your gonna have to watch me do this blake, to show you what it feels like to lose someone you love"

Yang fires blasts from her arm and gauntlet and tries to get up but is pinned to the ground by Adam's boot. Sheathing his sword he activates his semblance. Pulling his sword out his figure turns black and red. He raises it above his head and as he swings down a rush of wind hits me and then some small Rose's flutter in the air. A loud bang pierces my ears, dust kicks up and a figure is thrown past me, looking back twords where Yang and Adam were I see Yang still flinching as the dust settles more I dont see Adam nor Y:n. Looking past Yang I see Adam on the ground slowly getting up, as my head turns to see what flew past me I see blood thrown across the ground and Two broken blades lay next to each other, Hikari and whirlwind. Looking more to my left I see Y:n laying motionless on the ground,

blood pouring down the side of his face....
