A groan of annoyance left as I saw the kingdom of the South in front of me. We've been on this boat for almost 2 weeks. And I was sick of it! My stomach felt like it was about to kel over and die from how much this boat was rocking. I was happy to see the castle but at the same time annoyed.
Soon the games will begin.
Soon I will be married.
Soon I will lose all my freedom being chained up like a caged Bird unable to flutter it's wings.

Once off the ship I helped Iris off. She looked happy to be off the cursed vessel and I don't blame her. Almost 2 weeks without a simple leg stretch why that's borderline torture to a horse.

"Oh my Iris look at the fields you wanna go on a run?" I asked the horse. Her ears perked and she neighs in response. "Thought so," I smiled at her tying her saddle onto her.

I made sure it wasn't tight but not tight enough. Isabelle looked at me while she got off the boat.

"My young princess. As your head maid I suggest we go to meet the queen and king." She suggests to me while I mounted onto my horse.

"You worry to much Isabelle here," I removed the Crown off my head handing it to her "wouldn't want to get that lost would we?" I did one final check making sure that my arrows were tightly secured onto the saddle before riding off.

Isabelle called out after me insisting that I came back. But her calls faded away the further I road.

"Alright girl! Let's stretch those legs!" I yell snapping the reigns making her run even faster.

(Meridan's pov)

I was out in the woods. Why was I here you may be asking. Well the reason that I'm hiding in this forest is that princess (y/n) was arriving today. Ugh, the mere mention of her name made me sick to my stomach. No matter how much I protested my mother shot down every protest I made against the marriage. I don't understand why I had to get so arranged marriage. Couldn't I get married for love.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a flash of gray running past me along with an arrow hitting a target which was located right above my head.

'well I be darned, I've never seen someone make a shot like that other than me,' I thought.

I need to learn who this perosn was. Quickly mounting Shamish I snapped the reins following the same trail this mysterious rider was on.

We came to a stop near a stream. Iris was near the waters edge taking a long drink from the stream. The sky was a pretty blue not a cloud in the sky to ruin this day. But, I was running low on arrows which did dampen the mood a little.

"Gey iris? What do you think Prince Meridan is like?" I asked the horse who just looked at me confused.

Of course she wouldn't understand she was just a horse after all. A laugh escaped my lips.

"There you are! Oh? You're just a lass." A thick scottish accent said from behind me. I jumped to my feet raising my bow in defense with an arrow at the ready to shoot.

The source of the voice was a rather large well built male. He had green eyes like leaves on a tree which were framed by a large amount of red tendirls of curls. It was massive. I was actually quite tempted to reach out and touch it but I restrained myself.

"Who are you?!" I yelled at the stranger the grip on my bow growing tigther.

"Whoa young lass. Calm down. Oh my what a weird place to put a house," the red haired male says.
