(3rd pov)
Most people say that the young prince Elias was cold and unwelcoming. All the time always locked away in his bedroom from the public eye. Never leaving his room, never saying a word to anyone. But, there was one person who could get close enough to the cold prince.
Elias sat in the window of his bedroom looking out on the people walking about the fields of the palace. All of the people scurrying about doing there daily chores or activities. A knock on the door made Elias snap out of this trance and look towards the door.
“Who is it?” He asked while getting out the window walking towards the door.
“Prince Elias it’s me (y/n) I’m here to bring you your lunch,” A soft voice says on the other side of the door.
Elias perked up a little hearing the familiar voice and name come from the other side of the door. The male opened the door a little seeing the cute servant girl standing there with a tray of food also known as lunch. Elias smiles softly taking the tray from the girl placing it on a table near the door.
“Is that all you need for now prince Elias?” (y/n) asks Elias with a smile on her face.
Elias thought about it for a moment before letting her into the bedroom.
“Could you keep me company for a little?” He asks.
She nodded walking into the bedroom and Elias closed the door once she entered. (Y/n) looked around the bedroom cleaning up anything that was out of place as Elias ate his lunch silently. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. So to counter this silence (y/n) began singing softly to herself as she straightened out the curtains. Elias stopped eating for a moment looking towards the girl as she sang. Elias was captivated by her voice everything about her captivating.
Elias didn’t know it then but soon he would realize that this is the moment when he fell hard for her.
He felt himself letting his guard down this girl just made him feel at ease for some reason. Elias walked over to the window looking out seeing his younger brother Prince Andrew running around on the palace grounds. (Y/n) looked up from what she was doing seeing that the young prince seemed a tad upset. She was hesitant at first before making the decision to ask.
“Prince Elias?” Her voice came off as soft and curious.
“Yes?” He asked not looking in the direction of the girl.
(y/n) took a deep breath before asking the question she was about to ask the prince. “Why have you always locked yourself away in your room away from your brother?”
Elias stopped for a moment before turning to the girl and sighs.
