Chapter 1: Wife

I was scrolling down through my social media watching random people enjoying the music festival last night. Napangiti ako. I was there last night with Rum, too. And it was amazingly happy. I can't help but put a like on the post.

"Hmm," Rum snuggled on my neck, "You smell good."

Umirap ako mas lalong lumapad ang ngiti. I closed the application and locked my phone before I put it back in my bag.

"I brought a travel pillow, Rum. Nasa duffle bag ko."

"You smell like cucumber," he chuckled, crossing out my statement.

I bit my lower lip and looked away.

"Stop flirting. We're on a plane." I said it with my lips pursed.

He chuckled more. Making some of our neighbors crane their neck. And they didn't wave their gazes at me when I entered the plane. And now, his slight chuckle demands less privacy for us.

"Why?" He sounded like a child having tantrums. "Aren't you my wife?"

Ngayon ay ako na ang natawa. Of course I am! "Stop being so corny."

My heart is thumping like a barbaric viking.

"You liked a post about people partying. You miss Manila?"

Umiling ako at pinisil ang hinliliit niya. His finger beside it looks good with a ring on it. I genuinely smiled.

"It was from last night..."

"Hmm," he slightly nodded. "But do you miss Manila?"

I bit my lower lip more. "No. I'm happy in Visayas."

His finger lingered on mu wedding ring. Hindi na siya umimik. All I can hear is his heavy breathing. He's worried. Pero mas lalo ata akong kiniliti.

"You..." he whispered, "Unlike it..." halos hindi ko marinig iyon.

"What?" I laughed.

His heavy thick brows are now furrowed.

"Those were guys dancing, Mage. Come on, don't make me jealous..."

Kumunot lalo ang noo ko. His red lips are in grim line. And he's obviously pissed looking at me. He's waiting for me to decipher his words and I can't help but laugh! Hindi ko alam ang sinasabi niya. And I am glad I don't get him because his face, right now, is a major turn on. What a time to be alive!

"I'm married-" before I could even complete my sentence, he took my phone out from my bag and handed it to me.

"Unlike it."

Now I got it but I played dumb. He's smiling like an idiot now.

His head went back on my shoulders while chuckling like a crazy chuckie doll- but a hot one.

I opened the application and hovered down. I squinted my eyes while the video was playing. He was groaning every second. I can't believe it!
