The Scared Sister

Chapter 1: The call

Dawn's pov.

Sitting in my desk chair on my computer I constantly hear someone's phone ringing. Sighing I stand up and walk into dad's room picking up his phone. I wonder why he left it on his night stand when he isn't here. He always carries his phone with him. Hitting the end button I put the phone in my jacket pocket leaving the room to look for him.

Walking in the hallway I see Eric and James kissing each other totally grossing me out by their actions. Smiling I walk up to them and watch them kiss each other until one of them notices me. Holding in my giggling I poke Eric's side as he jumps startled and I can't hold in my laughter.

"Jeez Dawn you scared me." Eric says as I stand up straight still laughing at his reaction from when I scared him.

"Sorry but I am looking for dad. His phone was going off and he wasn't in his room. Do you guy know where he is?" I ask as Eric lays his head on James's chest looking at me.

"He is in the kitchen with mom." James says as I nod and kiss both of their cheeks walking downstairs to the kitchen leaving them alone to spend time together.

"Hey baby how are you feeling?" Mom says as I kiss her cheek and hand dad his phone as he smiles up at me and immediately gets onto his phone.

"I'm okay. Dad your phone kept ringing so I brought it to you." I say sitting at the kitchen table next to dad.

"Thank you baby girl. Don't forget you need to take your medicine. Mom has them ready for you now." Dad says taking a drink of his coffee going through his phone as I nod.

Watching mom as she hands me my medicine that is for my depression and anxiety as well as vitamins in front of me in a small bowl. Mom goes to the fridge and grabs a bottle of water and sits it next to the small bowl.

Sighing I take the pills and take a few drinks of the water to help wash them down then open my mouth to dad as he nods at me. I have to show someone when I take my medicine now but I don't mind because I know that they are just looking out for me.

"Who kept calling you dad?" I ask as he looks up from his phone at me and smiles.

"Your uncle Rowan. I will have to call him back in a few." Dad says as I nod and climb into his lap as mom smiles at us.

I have gotten really close to Henry now after everything that has happened. He has done so much for me the past year. Ever since the whole Daniel situation he has never given up on me and I am very grateful of that.

"Where are the guys at daddy?" I whisper watching mom starting to make lunch for everyone.

"Well James and Eric are spending time together right now. The rest of the boys are downstairs in the basement goofing off. I'm surprised you aren't down there." Dad says to me as I sit up on his lap and shrug looking down at the floor.

"Honey what's going on in your head?" Mom says sitting in the chair in front of me.

"I keep having a feeling that someone is watching me. I took a shower this morning and I had my window closed in the bathroom. When I got out the window was opened up enough for someone to look in." I say as my voice cracks and dad pulls me into a hug.

"Oh honey we will take care of it. Don't you worry about a thing okay now how about you go get the boys for lunch." Mom says as I nod and stand up giving them both a hug before heading downstairs to get my brothers.

Walking down the stairs I could hear loud laughter that echoed the whole basement. I love hearing the sound of my brothers having fun. It is like music to my ears to be honest with myself. Leaning against the door frame of the game lounge I watch everyone.
