'Y/N stop it, please...don't do this. Stop! Please! Let me fix this!'

You stopped in your tracks as you heard her call out your name, call out for you. You wanted to keep going, to walk out the door, to forget.

'Please just, just give me a chance!'

You tensed at her word choice. A chance? Really? You had already given her a chance. You had given this relationship a chance, and look how it turned out.

She went off and slept with one of her fathers employees.

You didn't realize how long you were in your own mind until you heard the sound of her footsteps become louder and louder. So loud they seemed to overpower the booming thunder that was occuring outside. Outside. The door.

Your escape.

Looking forward, back straight, and determined as ever, you went for the door again.

You gripped the handle like your life depended on it once you reached it, you knew this is what needed to be done.

"Goodbye Josephine."  You spoke, your voice course and gruff due to all of your continuous yelling and crying.

'No please, Y/N please don't say goodbye. Please, let me fix this!'  The desperateness, the hurt in her voice  momentarily made you think twice about leaving. She had cried too, which meant she was heartbroken too right?

Heartbroken over what? Something she had all control over?

You deserved better than this.

And with your mind made, you were out, into the merciless rain, with no where to go and a freshly broken heart.
